Nadia and Ali are newlyweds who celebrate their "anniversary" every month, and seek the help of Ali's parents to help them think of monthly gift ideas. Salem suggests that his son Ali buy a gift for himself and give it to Nadia.

Ali is surprised by his parents at his workplace. All his colleagues think that his mother is the CEO because she's shouting and ordering everyone around.

Ali compliments his mother Aziza's moloukheya and posts about it on social media. However, it gives his wife Nadia food poisoning.

Nadia asks Ali to take her to a beauty center. On their way there, Nadia loses the map there and they get lost in the desert. They later meet someone whom they believe has kidnapped them.

Abu Ali (Ali's father) invites his friend, whom Nadia discovers has a daughter also called Nadia, and is Ali's ex. Due to her jealousy, she fights with Ali, believing he sends the other Nadia roses.

Ali buys a new Bluetooth speaker that controls everything in the house, which angers his wife and mother.

Nadia's brother Abdul Rahman wants to learn English so Umm Ali (Ali's mother) brings him a teacher, but she knows no English at all. Meanwhile, Gamal wants to be a spy so he spies on his father.

Abdul Rahman is shocked to find that his box that he has dubbed the "well of secrets" is lost. He calls it that is because every time someone tells him a secret, he writes it on a piece of paper and places it inside that box.

Abu Aziz, a family friend, invites Abu Ali's family for dinner at a restaurant. They all prepare for the dinner but Ali wears clothes that are too tight for him.

Abu Ali is surprised that he has inherited money from a relative in Nigeria. They all think about how they can invest the money they're getting.

Nadia agrees to lend her friend her wedding dress, but is shocked to learn that Ali and his mother have sold it a while ago.

Nadia wants to help Ali financially, so she works as a babysitter. However, it all goes wrong when Nadia takes the baby home to her own house and the mother reports her to the police for kidnap. Ali mediates for Ismail to work in the company.

Abu Ali and his family are annoyed by a neighbor's dog who barks all night long. Afterwards, Ali finds that his brother Gamal has opened up a dog hotel in his apartment and people begin filing complaints against them.

Nadia wakes up to find that her mother-in-law has rearranged all her furniture, and using her friends' upcoming visit as an excuse. Nadia is angry of the control. However, that day, the power goes out, which enrages Umm Ali.

Abu Ali decides to go on a trip to Dubai with his wife and sons Gamal and Abdul Rahman. Meanwhile, Nadia tutors her neighbor's son Abdullah. However, Ali is surprised to find his family quickly return as Gamal has forgotten their passports.

Nadia asks Ali to take a day off to help her prepare for a party, but he asks Gamal to do it instead. However, Gamal forgets Nadia's shopping list in one of the stores and buys things out of memory for the party, much to Nadia's shock.

Ali tells Nadia that the company has agreed to hire him a secretary. Nadia gets jealous and considers applying. However, he tells her he'll hire a male secretary.

Nadia decides to discipline and mother everyone. She decides to place new rules so she can put the house in order and put everyone in their place.

As Umm Ali is upset from her kids' lack of care, Ali invites everyone for dinner and is surprised to see all what his mother and wife are doing are taking photos and posting them on social media. When Nadia returns home, she finds Abdul Rahman throwing her a surprise birthday party.

Nadia thinks Ali planned the surprise party, and it causes a lot of smoke in the house. As a result Abu Ali decides to teach them a lesson by making his friend pretend to be a firefighter and having him stay in the house with them.

Nadia takes great care of a plant her friend gave her for her birthday, and gives no attention to Ali and their home. Ali says nothing since he forgot her birthday, however, the firefighter says her plant may cause a fire in the house.

Everyone complains about the lack of privacy in the house, as everybody is in everybody's business, even Umm Ali tries to open a bag that isn't hers just out of curiosity.

Umm Nadia pays them a visit and says she's re-ignited the romance with Nadia's father and advises Umm Ali to do the same. Unfortunately, though, she finds Ali's phone, thinking it's her husband's, and believes he plans on re-marrying.

Nadia finds a box she likes in the house so she puts a gift for her friend inside of it, switching it with a gift Ali bought for his boss. Afterwards, everybody tries to switch them back.

Umm Ali's friend holds her son's wedding, so Umm Ali hires a makeup artist to do her makeup at home. However, she fights with the artist as she believes she ruined her look.

Ali loses his job and has nothing to do, so he decides to be a photographer and begins practicing on his wife.

Ali's grandmother comes to live with them and things get really tense as the woman interferes in everything.

Abdul Rahman tells the family he has booked them a vacation. Ali, however, is upset as his father has prepared for the many exhausting competitions he usually holds for them on these vacations.
