Roderic tells King Wittiza (King of the Goths) that he will confront the Muslims in the city of Ceuta so that they do not get it like Tangier. As Tariq ibn Ziyad asks his friend Aba Basir to take over the position of chief judge in Tangier, he decides to advance the Muslim army towards Ceuta.

Sulayman seeks the advice of Musa in the battle of his brother Maslama against the Romans. Florinda converts to Islam, and Musa ibn Nusayr dies.
