As the Conners cope with the COVID pandemic, they also have to deal with financial trouble.

As Darlene withdraws herself from her co-workers at Wellman Plastics, they start depicting her as Marie Antoinette. While Harris loses his large bet after Louise's encouragement causing him to get upset, Jackie considers serving Thai food after Lanford Lotus restaurant closes.

As Jackie refuses to go out with Louise's brother on a date, Emilio demands that Becky be more involved in Beverly Rose's life.

Darlene finds herself in an awkward situation between Robin and Becky. Meanwhile, Jackie gets help on how to discourage Neville's pursuit.

When Wellman's staff must undergo supervised drug testing, everyone is protesting in his own way.

When Ben's father dies, he learns a surprising fact from his mother Barb. Meanwhile, after Emilio and Becky admit they dislike dating others, they begin spending more time together.

As the family has suspicions about Harris's new friend, Josh and gives her warnings, Ben starts building Becky a closet.

Darlene's promotion leads Ben to make a career-changing decision. Meanwhile, Jackie sees a future with Neville after helping her with the "magic" herbal tea effects.

As Dan's business partner Chuck wants to dissolve their partnership after being offended, Darlene soon regrets hiring her new assistant. Meanwhile, Jackie auditions for "Jeopardy".

As Darlene keeps having panic attacks, Dan works at Ben's hardware store after being forced to leave his construction job. Meanwhile, Mark helps Jackie prepare for her "Jeopardy" audition.

When Darlene constantly talks about COVID-19, Mark starts believing that he has the virus. Meantime, Harris knows why Josh has been avoiding her while Jackie puts things right when she visits her late sister's grave.

When Louise contracts COVID, Dan and Ben get mad at Darlene. Meanwhile, Jackie seeks help from Neville after suspecting that the nearby restaurants are writing false negative reviews.

While Becky goes on a date with an old high school rival and feels intimidated by his success, a huge fight occurs between Ben and Dan, after the latter had business demands.

After Ben is evicted, he tells Darlene about wanting to have their own place. As Emilio starts to care for Beverly Rose while Becky works double shifts, Dan returns to the hardware store.

As the Family unites to help of of their members out, Darlene gets upsetting news about an old friend.

As the family says their goodbyes to Becky as she heads to rehab, Dan is considering selling the house. Meanwhile, Darlene is having second thoughts about living with Ben.

When a well-intentioned Darlene tries to help Mark during his online entrance exams, her plan goes sideways.

While Darlene is still angry over Ben's refusal to go to Hawaii, she makes a decision causing a conflict with Barb. Meantime, Louise recovers from COVID and Becky completes rehab.

As the Conners are having major changes in each one's life, an old member decides to retire from the army to be with the family.
