Anas' condition worsens, and he contemplates suicide. At the same time, Mahmoud dies, and his heart is transplanted to Anas. Reem likes Joe, but a car accident almost kills her.

Reem discovers the death of her brother Mahmoud, and resents her uncle's control over her life, so she decides to travel to Egypt to visit her brother's grave, and discovers her brother's will to donate his heart upon his death. Hallucinations begin to dominate Anas, and Mahmoud appears to him.

Reem is looking for Anas to get to know the person who took Mahmoud's heart, and the latter asks Anas to meet his sister, Reem.

Anas meets Reem, who is happy to know him, despite her great sadness at her uncle's attempt to force her to marry Hamid.

As Anas feels sick, Reem tries to help him, and while she is at his house, her uncle suspects that there is a relationship between them. Gamila is sad when she learns of Mahmoud's death.

Gamila steals Mahmoud's book, in which he talks about the soul and its transition between bodies. Anas finds his life spiraling out of control, so he is forced to resort to a psychiatrist, and he begins to become more attached to Reem.

Gamila is thinking of publishing Mahmoud's book and putting her name on it. She is surprised by Yassin, who objects to what's in the book and threatens her, while Reem and Anas search for the book everywhere.

Anas suffers a heart attack and is taken to the hospital, while Yassin continues to threaten Gamila with harm if the book is published. After Anas recovers, he travels with Reem to Alexandria to search for the book.

Reem discovers that Gamila has stolen the book, and the latter refuses to return it to her. Yassin threatens Gamila with private photos of her.

Reem refuses to marry Hamid, so her uncle locks her up, while Gamila hands the book to Yassin for fear of being exposed.

Yassin gives the book to Jaber, and keeps watching Anas. When Reem tells her uncle about Mahmoud's spirit, events happen that make him believe her.

Mahmoud tells Anas the truth about his son's death. After Reem travels to Lebanon, she learns there is another copy of the book with Gamila, so she returns to Egypt and begins to conjure the spirit of Mahmoud's son.
