Karim wakes up from a coma 14 years after being shot by unknown assailants. As Officer Walid questions him to find out his true identity, he claims that he is Aya Al Haffar's brother.

Walid meets with the Al Haffar family, tells them that their son is still alive, and asks them to meet him and see if they can recognize him. Karim's mother refuses to do a DNA test, confirming that he is her son, despite his brother’s objection to that.

As Aya meets Karim, she finds him wearing a chain belonging to her brother, which reassures her of his identity, but her mother tries hard to confirm who he is and continues to monitor him.

Walid asks Aya's psychiatrist to hand over her medical file to him. John asks his men to get rid of Karim, who confronts Rayan after an argument breaks out between him and Aya. Imad's wife suggests that Karim take a DNA test to confirm that he is his brother.

After Aya and her mother discover the truth about Karim, her mother makes a deal with him to keep pretending to be her son and she will help smuggle him out of the country on the condition that they obtain his inheritance.

As Walid continues to search for Karim's true identity, he finds out the details of Aya's therapy sessions. The police raid the gang's den while Karim and Aya are there, and the latter falsely claims that she and Karim were kidnapped.

Several women file complaints against Karim and accuse him of defrauding them. Walid confronts Karim and Aya about the fact that her brother is dead, and requests a DNA test. Aya discovers Walid's relationship with her psychiatrist.

Aya disappears and Karim finds her in the farmhouse, where she tells him that her brother died before her eyes and he was buried without informing the police. The psychiatrist apologizes to Aya for the information that was leaked about her.

As Walid arrests Karim, he accuses him of embezzlement, and tries to find out the nature of the relationship between him and the gang leader, Odeh.

In court, Odeh's men confess that he asked them to kill Karim, and that his real name is Sajaan. Walid finds a body buried in the garden of Aya's family farm, and it turns out that it is that of her brother Karim.
