As Lara works at a TV station, she learns that her boss is preparing Sandy to appear on screen, while she's trying to get a shot at that in vain. Sabah tends youngsters who live in the hostel she runs. The nurse Raghad looks after a patient who tells her about how his children traveled and abandoned him.

As Noura rejects Fouad, she tells him that she loves Zuhair. Sabah tells Manal about her boyfriend who left her. Raghad gets mad at her boss, Dr. Magdi, for divorcing her upon his family’s insistence. Rami starts working for a lawyer whose confidence he gains. Nawras asks Nizar to find Manal a job.

As Sandy becomes an anchorwoman, Lara gets furious that Hayyan hasn't given her the same chance. Tawfiq thanks Raghad for taking care of him. Manal perceives Nizar's ill intents, of which Nawras is aware. Noura rejects a pay raise at the cafe as it doesn't include her fellow workers.

Tawfiq asks Raghad to have breakfast with him. Lara, seeking an opportunity to become an anchorwoman, sends her resume to a major mass media company. Rami leaks information about a case in Mervat’s office to Tawfiq, who asks Raghad to visit him daily to give him his medicine.

Nizar tells Manal of his work in organ trade and offers to let her replace Nawras, causing friction between them. Hayyan assigns to Lara a new report. Raghad refuses to go back to Magdy, who accuses her of having an affair with Tawfiq. Mervat tells Rami about papers missing from her office.

Nawras apologizes to Manal, but she accuses him of selling her out to Nizar. Jihad recovers Lara's Facebook account and asks her to make a press report on Zuhair. As Raghad rejects a fancy gift from Tawfiq, Magdy warns her against indulging in her relationship with him.

Nawras cheats his brother Jihad out of his inheritance. As Manal agrees to work with Nizar, she is assaulted by Nawras, whom Nizar threatens and informs him that he's been replaced by her. Hayyan asks Lara for reports on celebrities’ news. As Tawfiq proposes to Raghad, Magdy asks her to go back to him.

Sawsan wants to sign Zuhair to an exclusive contract and produce an album for him, which Noura feels will drive them apart. Nawras refuses to give Jihad his share of the inheritance. Lara suspects something fishy's going on between Rami and Mervat. Tawfiq calls Dr. Magdy, as his health deteriorates.

Mervat asks Rami about the opposing counsel, as she loses a case in court. Zuhair tries to persuade Noura to travel to Dubai, to no avail. Jihad asks for his share of the inheritance.

Nawras tries to gain Manal's confidence when she becomes his boss. Lara gets upset with Rami for neglecting her, as he gets too busy. Noura agrees to let Zuhair travel only if she travels with him.

Rami fools Mervat into thinking that he cares about her. Nawras tries to find out why Nizar turned against him. Raghad tries to help Lara when she falls ill on account of Rami.

Nawras pleads with Manal not to inform Nizar of him cooking the books. As Nizar assigns Nawras a mission in Beirut, Nawras asks Manal to accompany him to escape Nizar’s bullying.

As Mervat is afraid of getting involved with Rami for being much older than him, she agrees to marry him on the condition that she’d have the authority to divorce him. Tawfiq asks Magdy to stay away from Raghad as he'll marry her. Hayyan offers Lara a chance to present a TV program.

As Rami goes to collect his stuff from the hostel, he releases Lara from any commitment to him, while she learns of his marriage to Mervat. Serene’s wish to postpone the wedding infuriates Jihad. Tawfiq is taken to the hospital in critical condition.

When Nawras gets arrested, Nizar refuses to help him unless the conditions he tells Manal about are met. Sabah kicks Jihad out when he assaults Serene. Zuhair returns after failing to achieve his dream of becoming a singer.

Raghad tells Tawfiq that Magdy saved his life. Noura gets angry at Zuhair's return to stay at Sabah’s. Jihad and Manal visit Nawras in prison, after which Nizar promises Manal to get Nawras out.

Tawfiq asks Adnan’s father not to transfer any sums of money to his son, whereas Magdy warns the former against marrying Raghad due to his heart condition. Mervat calls the police, as her office gets broken into.

As Serene accuses Manal of stealing her passport, Jihad admits that he was the one who took it. When Nawras is transferred to the central prison, Manal collapses and asks Rami to defend him.

Nizar threatens Manal after she asked Rami to defend Nawras, whereas Mervat turns down Nawras's case. Magdy is enraged by a video of Raghad dancing that Tawfiq sent him, after which Raghad is forced to agree to marry the latter.

Lara tries to turn down Wassef's offer to work with him as a model. Manal tells Jihad that Serene is seeing someone else. Mervat turns down Nawras's case, causing Rami to get angry and leave, whereupon he gets kidnapped by unknown persons.

After Nizar kidnaps Rami, he tells him not to defend Nawras. Scared of Nizar, Rami goes home and refuses to tell Mervat what happened, whereupon she tells him that she's pregnant. Fawzi returns from abroad and is surprised by his father Tawfiq's marriage.

Tawfiq tells Fawzi that Raghad stood by him when he was ill, whereas Rami harasses her. Nawras appeals to Manal to help him get out of prison. Jihad worries about Serene's sudden disappearance. Enana is vexed by her father Wassef’s fondness for Lara.

Noura tells Zuhair to accept any offer to sing. Manal gets furious at Jihad for locking up Serene and tying her up. Fawzi is piqued by Tawfiq’s closing down the company. Mervat is heartbroken after discovering that she’s not pregnant. Tawfiq deposits a sum of money for Raghad in the bank.

Wassef becomes furious at Enana when she publishes pictures of Lara without his knowledge, after which he proposes to Lara. Tawfiq reproaches Fawzi for not letting him see his grandson. Serene says goodbye to Jihad before going away.

Serene departs after leaving a letter thanking Manal, who ends her relationship with Nawras and rejects Jihad’s accusation that she abandoned him. Fawzi threatens Raghad and tries to assault her. Mervat is bent on having kids and resorts to artificial insemination despite Rami's objection.

Wassef celebrates his engagement to Lara, only to have Enana ruin the mood. Fawzi demands that his father help him pay large debts that he owes. Nawras and Turki plan to entrap Nizar, while the latter tries to test Manal's loyalty to him.

Enana stays at the hostel, and warns Lara not to marry her father, whereas Wassef tells Lara that Enana is mentally ill. Manal and Jihad have an altercation on account of what Serene and Nawras have done. Rami seeks to divorce Mervat.

As Enana tells Wassef that Lara loves another guy who works as a lawyer, she also tells Noura that Zuhair is cheating on her. When Mervat adopts a child from an orphanage, Rami is against it. Lara accuses Wassef of cheating on and manipulating her.

As Tawfiq dies suddenly, Fawzi accuses Raghad of killing him, so she turns to Magdy, whereupon they both get arrested. Hayyan decides to defame Lara. Jihad and Manal get engaged. Nizar kidnaps Rami to prevent him from pleading in Nawras’s defense.

As Magdy and Raghad are released from jail, the latter goes back to her job at the hospital. Manal quits working with Nizar, whereupon she and Jihad make a video for a song by Zuhair on YouTube, which becomes a hit. Nizar gets arrested. Lara gets a job abroad in media.
