Alia decides to return to the village after her father Farid's illness. Zain meets his old flame Alia years after she got married and traveled with her husband Walid abroad.

Fouad informs the family of Farid's loss at the stock exchange market a long time ago and that he mortgaged his property to Alia's husband, Walid. Alia's mother gets angry about the matter and tells her son, Khalil, that she will not give up his rights.

Zain sees Alia and Nour in a nightclub by chance and stops a guy who tried to flirt with Alia. Khalil records a video of his sister with Zain and sends it to her husband, Walid. Farid wakes up from the coma, asks Alia to forgive him, then dies.

As Walid returns from abroad to attend the funeral of his father-in-law, Farid, Nadia quarrels with him and tells him that the sum with which he bought her husband's property is much less than what the property is worth.

Walid tells his wife Alia that he saved her brother Khalil from execution after he had killed a girl named Laila, whom he tried to rape, and tells her that her late father asked him to intervene to save the day after a guy had recorded the crime and tried to blackmail the family.

Farid leaves a hard disk containing secrets about the property and the family. When Zain goes to Farid's funeral, Walid warns him not to come to the house again. Walid quarrels with his wife and tells her he suspects that she loves Zain.

Farid tells his daughter Alia in the videos he left for her after his death about her brother Khalil being mentally ill and about his crimes. Zain tells Raja that he's on his side and that he wants to prove that Khalil killed Laila.

When Alia confronts her brother Khalil with his crimes, he threatens to tell everyone about her love for Zain. Walid tells Nadia that her son Khalil borrowed money from him which he wants back, or else he will have him imprisoned.

Khalil threatens his sister, Alia, that he'll tell everyone that her daughter Ayla is Zain's daughter and not Walid's. Alia meets Zain and tells him that she got married against her will.

Walid threatens Fouad that he'll sue the family if he does not get his money. Also, he tells his wife, Alia, that he sent his men to put poison in the food of Ashqar, the horse.

Zain goes to Walid and threatens him after killing his horse, upon which Alia asks Zain to leave the house. Zain agrees with the lawyer Ghaida to take over Raja's case and save him from prison.

Nour quarrels with Zain over his love for her friend Alia; meanwhile, Khalil tries to deliver a message to Zain telling him that Ayla, the daughter of his beloved Alia, is his daughter and not Walid's.

Ghaida hatches a plan to prove that it was Khalil who killed Laila, while Nour goes to Alia and tells her about Zain's relationship with another girl.

Alia tells her family that Walid has many videos of Khalil's crimes and his affairs with women; meanwhile, Walid threatens Zain with a gun.

Ghaida lures Khalil, makes him confess all his crimes to her, and records the entire conversation on her phone, after which she is taken aback when he tells her that Ayla is Zain's daughter and not Walid's.

Zain decides to take revenge on Alia after discovering the truth from Ghaida, while Khalil tells his mother about the crimes of his uncle that he witnessed in his childhood.

As Zain tells Alia that he knows everything about their daughter Ayla, he rages at her and tells her that he will have her do a DNA test, whereupon Alia rages at her brother Khalil and tells him that Zain has learned the truth.

Zain tells his family that Ayla is his and Alia's daughter and that the latter hid the matter from him; meanwhile, Khalil asks Abeer to pack her bags and flee with him outside the country.

Alia takes Ayla to the hospital for a DNA test, after which Alia tells Zain that she still loves him but she fears for him from her husband Walid.

Zain informs Alia that the police summoned Ghaida to testify regarding the audio recordings she made for Khalil and her accusing him of killing Laila. Walid quarrels with Alia.

As Khalil tries to rape Abeer, she jumps off the balcony, but her neighbor intervenes and saves her life.

Amal tells her brother Zain that she told Nour that Ayla is his and Alia's daughter, while Zain tells Alia that he told his family the truth, and Walid tells Laila's family that Khalil killed her.

Amal runs away from her family's house and goes to Sharif, who talks to her and asks her to return to her family. Alia calls Zain and tells him of her love.

Zain learns from the tests that Ayla is his daughter, and as Laila's father photographs Zain hugging Ayla, Zain sees him and warns him not to tell Walid.

As Ghaida tells Zain that she wants to withdraw from Raja and Khalil's case and confesses her love to him, he talks to her and convinces her to reconsider.

When Amal asks her family to complete her studies in Beirut and live alone, her father gets angry and warns her of her actions. Nour goes to her friend Alia and warns her of what's to come.

Walid's men kidnap Ghaida and threaten to kill her mother if she doesn't give up the case, so Ghaida agrees, after which she tells Zain what happened.

Zain threatens Walid and asks him to stay away from Ghaida. Raja is released from prison. Sharif rents an apartment for Amal in Beirut.

Abeer threatens Alia that she will tell Walid the truth if she does not tell her where Khalil is.

Alia warns Zain about Walid. As Nour tries to commit suicide by taking an overdose of pills, Walid tries to save her, but she dies.

Alia tells Zain of Nour's committing suicide, whereupon Zain goes to the hospital and meets Alia, and when Walid sees them, he goes crazy and quarrels with Zain.

When Alia tells Zain about Laila's father's attempts to blackmail her, he tells her that the best solution is to tell the whole truth to Walid before he learns it from someone else.

Laila's mother warns Alia that her husband might tell Walid the truth, so Alia tries to stop him; meanwhile, Laila's father tells Walid that Ayla is not his daughter but Zain's.

Walid loses his head after learning the truth, and asks Alia to pack her things to go back to Dubai and do a DNA test.

Ayman confesses the truth to Walid, who confronts Alia with the truth and tells her that he will take the children and go to Dubai and leave her in Beirut.

Abeer tells Khalil that she wants him to marry her. Alia asks Walid to forget the past, but he refuses and tells her that he wants to take revenge on Zain.

Alia rejects the idea of abandoning her son Amer and going to her lover Zain with their daughter Ayla, while Zain tells Walid his final decision and that he's taking the child.

Nadia and Fouad urge Zain not to deprive Ayla of her mother. When Walid asks Ayla to go with her father Zain, she refuses, but Zain takes her eventually.

Alia asks her husband Walid to get her daughter Ayla back, but he refuses. Raja tells Zain that he had informed the police of Khalil's whereabouts, but they did not find him.

As Alia falls unconscious, Walid takes her to the hospital, and when she regains consciousness, she asks Zain to bring Ayla to see her.

Zain finds Khalil and asks him to testify against Walid in court. Alia goes to see her daughter at the house of Zain, who hides Ayla at the farm with Ghaida.

Zain tells Ghaida that he wants to ask for her hand in marriage. Walid tells Alia that he will file a complaint at the police station about Zain's kidnapping of his daughter.

Zain confronts his friend and tells him that he knows that he stole his money, and that he connived with Walid against him.

As Zain celebrates his engagement to Ghaida, Alia attends the party, and when she falls unconscious, Zain tries to save her.

Walid kidnaps Ayla from the house of her father, Zain, and takes her to her mother, Alia, then he tells Zain that Ayla is with him and asks him to give him Khalil in exchange for his daughter.

After Fouad tells Zain the story of Khalil and his uncle Rifaat, Zain tells Khalil that his uncle Rifaat committed suicide. Amal packs her things and decides to leave Sharif's house.

As Zain refuses to give up and tries to get his daughter back, he threatens Alia that he will have Walid imprisoned. Nadia asks Abeer to find Khalil as soon as possible.

Alia threatens Zain that she will travel with Ayla abroad. When Raja finds Khalil lying unconscious, he calls Zain and tells him that he's taking him to the doctor.

When Khalil regains consciousness, Zain learns from him that he tried to commit suicide, after which Khalil begins treatment for addiction. Alia asks Walid not to give up on her daughter Ayla.

As Amal tells Sharif to decide their fate, he asks her to live with him before marriage so he'd get used to her, whereupon Zain rages at Amal when she tells him what Sharif said and he rejects it.

As Alia gets her child back and moves away to a house far from the village, Zain goes mad when finds out about her escape.

Alia sends a message to Zain, telling him never to look for her again, and when Shadi sees her in Beirut, he asks her for money in exchange for not telling Walid and Zain where she is.

Zain takes Nadia and Fouad to the addiction treatment center to see Khalil. Meanwhile, Shadi continues to threaten Alia.

Walid tells Zain that he wants to file a lawsuit against Alia for kidnapping his son Amer, but Zain refuses his suggestion. As Shadi tries to molest Alia, her neighbor saves her.

When Nader tells Alia that Shadi has previous convictions for rape and robbery, the two report him to the police and he gets arrested. Sharif marries Amal.

As Khalil informs Fouad of his desire to turn himself in to the police, the latter informs him of the lawyer's success in proving that Laila committed suicide and jumped in the river. Nour asks Ghaida to leave Zain so that he'd return to Alia.

As Zain brings his daughter Ayla home, Alia confesses to him that she misses him. Walid goes to Alia's house and asks her to come home with him.

Khalil gets close to Nour. Fouad goes to the police and files a complaint against Walid, whom he tells that he won't leave him until he's in prison. Zain admonishes Ghaida for seeing Alia and Ayla earlier and not telling him where they were.

Khalil asks Abeer to stay away from him. Alia takes her son Amer and escapes from Walid's house with Zain's help. Ghaida decides to split up with Zain.

Zain's father tells his son about his sister Amal's pregnancy. Walid's men kidnap Nadia to force Alia to return, whereupon Khalil shoots Walid and kills him. A year later, Khalil gets released from prison, while Zain returns to Alia.
