Following the outbreak of Coronavirus, the staff at New Amsterdam struggles to deal with the situation, trying to save everyone they can. Meanwhile, a plane crash occurs in the city, and Iggy tries to help the pilot reveal the truth as investigators question the plane's crew.

Max must deal with the harrowing ramifications of one of his strategies. Meanwhile, Reynolds makes a comeback, and Bloom finds out something staggering regarding Iggy.

Max tries to fight a new proposal that promises more profits for New Amsterdam. Reynolds tries to handle a personal problem. As the unduly protective parents of a young girl won't let her leave the house during the pandemic, Iggy comes to her aid.
