As a bomb blasts inside a mosque in a foreign town, everyone rushes to move the injured and the deceased to hospitals. Nour worries about Shehab and keeps searching for him.

Hours before the bombing, Mariam agrees with Shehab on the wedding’s date, Fares donates a large number of Qur’ans and money to the mosque, as well as Hadi who rejects his mother’s relationship with someone who loves her.

While Hanan and Mariam are trying to find any information about the presence of Shehab among the victims, the doctor informs them of his death. Hadi's mother continues to look for him since he disappeared after the incident.

Mariah quarrels with her ex-husband, Marwan, and asks him to help her search for their son, Hadi. Mariam recalls disapproving of Shehab's relationship with Fares and doubts that something suspicious is going between both of them.

Mariam finds out that Shehab was in touch with a terrorist group before his death. They offered him to join their organization, but Shehab refused. Moreover, Adam kidnaps Hanan's friend to take vengeance on her after she turned him down.

Mariam, Hanan, and Fares attend the burial of victims, including Shehab. Mariah ascertains the death of her son while searching for his body among the victims. It becomes obvious to the police that the explosives were planted in the boxes holding copies of the Qur'an inside the mosque.

As Mariam is surprised by the presence of Fares in Shehab’s room, she tells him that she is the reason for their acquaintance. As Fares tells his friend that he is in love with Mariam, he remembers his relationship with the child, Hadi, before the incident.

Before the bombing, a police officer agrees with Shehab to cooperate with him against a terrorist group, and Mariam insists that Faisal is among the terrorists.

Hanan meets Bassam and learns that he was injured in the bombing incident. The police force arrest a group of terrorists suspected of the bombing of the mosque. Fares asks Mariam to make up her mind whether to stay by his side for the rest of their lives or stay away from him.

Mariah informs Fares that her son, Hadi, went to the mosque with a group of children at the instigation of an unknown person. As Mariam receives a call from an unknown person telling her that Shehab got into an ambulance before the bombings, she searches his office for any documents proving that.

As Mariam discovers while searching in Shehab's office that he didn't fall victim to the bombings but was killed, she also finds papers pertaining to terrorist operations. Hanan tries to find out about the relationship between Mariam and Fares.

Mariah holds her ex-husband responsible for letting their son go with the children to the mosque. Mariam suspects Fares after a hospital employee tells her that Shehab met Fares before the incident. Bassam finds pictures of the children before the incident and hands them to Fares.

Mariam informs the officer, Milad, of the threats she receives from some people. Additionally, she discovers that Shehab has been killed by the paramedics who escorted his body to the site of the bombings to make it appear as if he is one of the victims.

Hanan informs Fares of her desire to leave the country. Mariam insists on accomplishing her mission to uncover the murder of Shehab. Meanwhile, Fares asks Alya to stay away from Mariah.

Hanan accuses Mariam of exploiting the death of Shehab in order to shoot to fame. Mariah's ex-husband believes that there is a relationship between her and Fares. As Mariah is shocked by the mysterious destruction of her restaurant, she informs the police.

Even though Milad asks Mariam to calm down and wait for the investigation results, she continues to search for the last person who met Shehab before the bombings. Hadi's father clashes with Mariah and decides to sell their shop, while Mariam helps her by buying it.

Fares tells Milad that he is suspicious of Alya's moves, while the latter wears niqab and plants explosives into another mosque.

Mariam and Hanan head to the mosque to attend a memorial for the victims. The police manage to save everyone before the explosion. Mariam accuses Marwan of being the reason behind the presence of his son, Hadi, in the mosque at the time of the incident.

After the police arrest Alya, they interrogate Mariam and Fares about their relationship with her. Mariam informs Mariah of her continuous suspicion of Fares. Mariah decides to marry her Israeli friend.

Fares informs Milad of Mariam's continuous suspicions of him. Everyone is shocked as Fares gets arrested after Alya implicates him, but he is released after the investigations proved nothing against him.

The police tighten the precautionary measures on mosques. Hanan confesses to Bassam her love for him. Mariam asks Fares to return to her room at his house.

Mariah advises Fares to marry Mariam. As Fares is surprised by Moataz monitoring him, the latter admits that he killed Shehab and sent him pictures of Fares and Mariam, to make him suspect that they are in a relationship.

As Hanan confesses her love to Bassam and gets close to him, Bassam tries to stay away from her. Meanwhile, Mariah visits someone in his house without telling anyone of her friends.

As Nasser locks up Mariah and ties her with ropes, Fares and Mariam keep looking for her, while Bassam suggests reporting Mariah's disappearance to the police.

Fares and Mariam manage to save Mariah and untie her. After Nasser commits suicide, Mariah discovers that he was in touch with her ex-husband, Marwan.

Fares asks Mariam for marriage, and tells her that he knew that Shehab didn't just die in the bombing accident, but was killed.

Marwan abducts both Mariam and Hanan, who are later shocked by his relationship with Alya. It turns out that the latter has plotted with Dalia to impersonate Alya to plant the explosives inside the mosque.

Alya informs Marwan that Moataz's father suspects a relationship between them. Bassam tells Milad that Alya's sister who resembles her is behind it all. Hanan escapes. Alya forces Mariam to wear an explosive belt.

The police reach Hanan who tells them about Mariam and Alya. Grandfather Mahfouz passes away. Fares colludes with someone to plant an explosive bag inside a mosque.

The police manage to arrest someone before the bombing. As Fares and Bassam decide to turn away from Mariam and Hanan, the latter travels to her country.
