As Adel suggests for Qusay to marry his sister-in-law Hanan, Qusay agrees to the suggestion. Devastated over losing his beloved Hanan, Nofal shoots Qusay on his wedding day.

As ISIS gains control of Mosul, Nofal becomes the Caliph. After losing his leadership position, Hassaan is forced to seek out the ISIS governor. Hanan and Qusay hide in their house. When an Iraqi army officer loses it, he attacks the ISIS headquarters, only to be killed in a shoot-out.

As ISIS hangs the officer's body in a square to make an example out of him, Adel and Qusay are torn between their desire to bring their friend's body down and their fear of ISIS. Hassaan smuggles Christians and Yazidis out of Mosul. ISIS changes the school curriculum.

As Hassaan takes Bassel's body down and buries him, Nofal arrests Adel after suspecting him of being the one who did it and offers him a deal. As Hassaan tries to smuggle people outside of Mosul, ISIS intercepts him.

After Hassaan smuggles a family out of Mosul, a member of ISIS threatens him with a gun as he tries to get another family out as well. Nofal arrests many youths in an attempt to figure out who is smuggling people out of the city. Adel falls victim to depression.

Hassaan continues to smuggle people out of the city. As Qusay survives an attempted murder by Adel, Nofal rejoices when he hears about Qusay being shot. A young girl is forced into the bedroom of the elderly governor.

Nofal and his men rape Adel's wife in front of her husband before killing the entire family. In an attempt to frame Qusay for the crime, Nofal's men kidnap him and leave him in Adel's house, along with the murder weapon. ISIS arrests Hassaan as he is dancing in the street.

Nofal's men torture Qusay and Hassaan in prison. As the governor informs Hanan that Qusay raped and killed her sister, Nofal demands that Qusay be executed.

The governor assigns a guy to spy on Nofal, who offers to let Qusay live if he leaves Hanan. As the governor comes to learn of Nofal's secret, he asks him to wear an explosive belt and write his will.

Nofal forges the forensic report on the death of Adel and his family. Hanan and Asim's sweetheart join the women of ISIS.

As Hanan infiltrates the ranks of ISIS and becomes an active member, she entraps Nofal, sedates him, and points a gun at his head.

As Hanan brings young girls for Nofal to marry, she drugs him whenever he gets close to any of them. During an operation against the Iraqi army, Nofal kills one of Mahfouz's men when he learns that he is spying on him.

As the governor orders Asim to be executed after love letters and a photo of his ISIS sweetheart are found, he also catches Nofal and his men with alcohol.

Umm Mazen gets Hanan to join the women who are getting wed to the Jihadists. The impotent governor, Mahfouz, decides to relieve Hanan from joining the women to get her to keep his secret. As Hassaan flees the men of ISIS, he gets injured in the shoulder.

Nofal kills Mahfouz and Umm Mazen. As Hanan flees the grip of ISIS, Hassaan runs Nofal over with his car and runs away with her. The Iraqi army manages to liberate Mosul.
