As terrorist groups take control of several governorates including Nineveh and Mosul, Serwan and Manaf meet the foreign journalist, Anderson, who arrives on a mission in Iraq. Zulfikar decides to enlist in the Iraqi army.
Manaf meets with the owner of a company to ask about the legality of his company’s operations. Zulfikar participates with the soldiers in a military operation against terrorists.
It's revealed that Manaf is the son of the martyr Zulfikar, who fought with the Popular Mobilization Forces, as he is trying to collect evidence to clear the names of his father and all the fighters of the false accusations and smear campaigns against them.
Manaf goes through his father's military stuff, and tries to refute the lies spread in misleading videos about the heroic deeds of his father and his comrades in Parwana, and he also decides to contact the relevant authorities in this regard.
The agency decides to help Manaf in the Parwana issue to acquit the Popular Mobilization Forces, whereupon he travels with his two colleagues on a road trip to start working on its documentation, starting with the city of Tikrit.
As Manaf suspects there’s a major corruption case involving the Three Colors Company, he suspects that his boss is somehow linked to what's been happening, while he prepares for a trip to Parwana village to collect statements about what happened there with the Popular Mobilization Forces.
On the road trip, Manaf and Mosaab engage with a group of terrorists in a confrontation, and as Mosaab tries to fight back, he gets killed.
After Mosaab gets killed, Manaf is captured by an ISIS cell. While locked up, he finds a journal that belonged to a Canadian journalist who was also a captive there before being executed; all the while the authorities look for Manaf.
Manaf, who ends up in the hospital, cooperates with the police to lead them to the ISIS cell, after which an attempt to kill him in the hospital fails.
Manaf tries to cooperate with the police in the case of Rashad's murder, leading them, based on his investigations, to the suspects in that crime, including the man who tried to kill him in the hospital.
As the news agency where Manaf works is under threat, the director of the agency asks the police to intervene, whereupon he and Manaf receive death threats from the president of the shady company.
In a flashback, Zulfikar is martyred during his participation in an operation against terrorists, while in the present, Manaf finds out the truth about Hussam, who’s been trying to change his views for many years.
