Samer works at the Scheherazade theater, and police officer Ishak investigates the replacement of a prop gun with a real gun and interrogates Adly, the arms dealer. As Saad is scared to portray a murderer, Rabab encourages him, especially because an important journalist, Rassem, will be there.
Kamal decides to give Joury an important role in the play, and Sarmad tells her he knows her real name is Nour El Hafez, granddaughter of Rashid El Hafez, who was murdered. Joury wants to identify her grandfather's killer.
Rabab confides in Joury that she is annoyed by Samer's fear and anxiety over playing a murderer. She also reveals to Joury that she found a large sum of money in her grandfather's room on the night of the murder and hid it, in fear of the police, and Joury is shocked.
Someone attempts to murder the arms dealer, while Rassem donates a large sum of money to the theater. As the police receive a tip that there are arms in the theater, they find the bullets to the gun they're looking for.
Lamees is arrested for possession of the bullets, so her sister Nadia arrives to prove her sister's innocence. Nadia tells Joury what happened on the day of Rashid's murder. Meanwhile, Sarmad proposes to Joury.
Lamees is interrogated and attempts suicide but is saved by Selim, and she gets released for insufficient evidence. Sarmad proposes to Joury once again while Rassem tells Kamal to hurry and open the play.
Lamees returns and Kamal surprises the actors with bringing forward the date of opening night, while Rassem has feelings for Nashwa and she asks him to get married. A murder takes place in the theater and is investigated.
The officer interrogates the troupe on the murder of the man found in front of the theater, while Joury suspects that it is Samer who murdered Rashid.
Kamal is arrested and interrogated after a dagger was found in his dressing room, but he tells the officer it's a prop. Meanwhile, Rassem provides more funding for the play so it can open as soon as possible.
Joury discovers Nashwa's attempts to thwart the investigation by placing the bullets in Lamees's room to frame her. It turns out Rassem has planned for it all and Nashwa was the one who switched the gun with which he killed Rashid.
