As Sean Sr. decides to embark on a road trip with Ann, he considers retiring.

With her grand house being refurbished, Bridget comes over to stay at her parents’.

Dan and Cora’s reunion doesn’t last, which forces Dan to move back to his parents’ house, whereupon Ann urges him to go to a therapy session. When Sean Sr. sends Sean Jr. to do a job on his own, the latter drops it to pursue another business opportunity.

Sean Sr. gets sidelined from the hockey team, which deeply embitters him. Ann’s mentor, Grace, spends more time at the Moodys’, as Ann starts her job as a psychologist.

Bridget sends for her old friend Nick to help relieve Sean Sr.’s backache. Ann checks up on Dan, whose love life causes her to worry. Sean Jr.’s business with Marco starts to boom.

Sean Sr. tries to find a date for Bridget. Ann gets wise to the secret that Dan and Grace have been keeping from her. Sean Jr. manages to close his first sale.

Ann thinks better of her job as a psychologist, while Sean Sr. rethinks his retirement plans. Dan runs into Cora. Sean Jr. buckles down and starts making future plans. Bridget and Nick’s relationship hits a rough patch.

While attending a wedding, the Moodys are taken aback by some startling happening, while Bridget’s luck in romance finally picks up.
