The manager at the White Lotus resort, Armond, welcomes new guests, including newlyweds Rachel and Shane, who ignores his new wife and makes a fuss about a booking mistake. Meanwhile, the bereft Tanya tries to get a massage, and Mark waits for a dreaded call regarding his health.

Mark learns a shocking secret. As Shane depreciates Rachel's work, she seeks advice from Nicole. While at the beach, Olivia and Paula forget their bag of drugs, which later falls in Armond's hands. Belinda considers a business offer by Tanya.

Quinn hesitantly joins Mark in a scuba diving class, while Mark is still having a hard time coming to terms with the secret he learned about his dad. Shane gets Armond to help him arrange a romantic dinner for him and Rachel, but it doesn't go well. A secretive Paula arouses Olivia's suspicion.

A surprise guest turns up at the resort, much to Rachel's dismay. As Greg asks Tanya out, she cancels her plans with Belinda. Armond struggles to maintain his sobriety. Mark confides a terrible secret to Quinn.

After Shane catches him in a compromising position, Armond tries to contain the situation. As Tanya is busy with Greg, Belinda tries to get her to check her business proposal. Rachel starts having misgivings about her marriage. Nicole berates Mark for talking to Quinn about their marital problems.

Shane receives shocking news from Rachel, while Belinda is still upset about Tanya's decision. Mark manages to regain his family's respect, whereas Paula and Olivia's relationship hits a rough patch. Quinn makes a momentous resolution. With his life ruined, Armond gets high and sets out for revenge.
