Saber lives alone in the apartment, which is devoid of furniture. Souad goes out to work, assuming the role of the man, and acts like the man of the house, which upsets her mother.
Souad assumes the identity of her father, wears his clothes, and acts like a man, which makes her mother consult a psychiatrist, who asks all family members to go along with her actions because she suffers from severe depression.
Saber goes to buy medicine for Souad and gets into a traffic accident, and when Souad realizes that he is in a bad condition, she returns to normal, while her mother asks Saber to prepare the apartment.

Umm Adel asks Umm Nafeh that she wash her clothes for her, and all the neighbors charge their phones at her house to use the solar energy device, but the electricity gets cut off due to the heavy pressure on the device.
Umm Nafeh refuses to meet the neighbors' requests, so Waheed puts several solar energy devices on the roof of the building, which reduces the consumption, after which Waheed tells Umm Nafeh that Saber deceived her and bought the device in installments.
The residents quarrel with Saber because the solar energy devices aren't working and demand a refund. Maher discovers that Waheed is tampering with the devices on the roof.

Saber takes on the task of bringing private tutors to Nafeh to teach him at home to pass high school, but Nafeh is uninterested and deals with the lessons indifferently.
In an effort to prevent Nafeh from succeeding and Saber from marrying Souad, Waheed asks some of the students to pretend to give Nafeh the correct answers in exchange for money. However, Nafeh ultimately succeeds.
Nafeh is interviewed on television about his success in high school. As for Waheed, he sells contracts for overseas jobs and all the residents of the building gather around him, but Saber tells Umm Nafeh that Waheed is a scammer.
Saber's aunt comes with her daughter, Shatha, to visit Saber, whereupon Waheed, Nafeh, and Maher admire Shatha, while Saber agrees with Waheed that he help him obtain a visa to work abroad.
The aunt gives Saber gold so that he would sell it and get the visa, but Waheed tells everyone that the gold is fake, so the aunt gets angry and wants to get it back.
Saber receives the visa file, but it turns out that he is going to work as a camel shepherd, so he gets upset and refuses to travel, while Nafeh asks him to disguise himself as a woman and go with Maher to meet the principal.
Saber disguises himself as a woman so that he could go with Maher to school as if he were his mother, but when Waheed sees him on the stairs, he tries to follow him and tells the police that there is a thief in the building.
Waheed pretends to be Umm Nafeh in front of Maher's teacher, while Maher steals his classmates' food.
Amal, Souad's cousin, visits her after her husband divorced her because of her excessive use of the mobile phone, while both Nafeh and Souad also use the mobile phone a lot, which angers their mother.
Shaker visits Saber and tells him that he divorced Amal because she was always busy on the phone, while she talks to Umm Nafeh and claims the same thing about him, and Saber tries to patch things up between them.
Shaker tells Umm Nafeh that he divorced Amal three times, so she must marry another man so that he can marry her again. Umm Adel suggests that Waheed marry Amal in return for a significant sum of money.
Amal's father comes to Umm Nafeh's house and learns about her divorce, so he decides to wed her to a young friend of his, but Amal refuses, and Shaker tells him that he did not divorce her three times.
Waheed asks Umm Nafeh to pay the rent, so she asks him for a respite, while a man comes to the building claiming that he owns gas, whereupon Saber wants to partner up with him.
Saber's aunt comes from the village to visit him and gives him money so that he can partner up with Waheed on the gas project after Umm Nafeh refused to help him.
The gas project succeeds in the building, and Saber collects a lot of money, so he agrees with Souad that they buy furniture to hold the wedding, despite her mother's refusal.
Saber, Nafeh, and Waheed are all arrested, but the officer releases Waheed for not being connected to the project. Nafeh and Saber go to prison to be brought before the Public Prosecution on charges of illegal gas trafficking.
Saber and Nafeh are released after Waheed confesses that a man has provided them with gas pipes so that they could distribute them in the building. Umm Nafeh asks Saber to provide for Souad since he is considered her husband.
In a television interview, Saber pleads with organizations to help him renovate his apartment, after which human rights missions flock to Saber's house to help him, while Souad is jealous of one of the announcers.
In the presence of Waheed, Umm Adel, and the television crew, Saber and Souad's family celebrate the arrival of the UN envoy to find a solution to complete Saber's marriage and shape his desired future.
