Nadine's mother dies. Abu Musab buries a bag full of money in a city controlled by ISIS. The commander orders that Nizar's father be killed and obliges Nizar to carry it out. It turns out that Hussein is Abu Musab, and he sends Nabil pictures of ISIS fighters coming to Egypt.

As Omar, Nadine, and Nabil look for a way to save Hussein, they decide that Omar and Nadine carry out the plan to save him. Sayyaf tries to find out what information Hussein leaked, promising not to kill him. The Egyptian intelligence team begins carrying out the mission, but Hussein is executed.

In a flashback, Hussein convinces Omar to plant him in the ISIS cell to trap its leader. Sayyaf asks Nizar to search the houses for anyone associated with Abu Musab. Nabil asks Omar to leave immediately, but Omar insists on saving their agent Abu Omaira first, and the mission succeeds.

Kamal scolds Sayyaf and his leader, stressing the importance of the operation in Egypt. Abu Omaira gives Omar data about a terrorist named Azzam. Sayyaf tells his leader the operation will target the judiciary. As the terrorists begin preparing for the operation, the intelligence tries to find them.

The bomb is deactivated, and as Azzam gets arrested, Nabil interrogates him. Sayyaf tells his leader that he is preparing a new plan. Alaa works for a TV station hostile to the Egyptian government and suffers hardship. Kamal asks Sayyaf to turn against the ruler.

The intelligence tries to find out the source of ISIS' financing, which leads them to a European casino where a Tunisian named Sarah works. Omar introduces himself to Sarah with a fake identity, after which Frank tells her that a new operation is imminent then exposes Omar.

As Nabil tells the team in charge of the ISIS file that a new agent must be planted within the organization, Khaled nominates two young men, but Omar finds it difficult to choose as he feels responsible for Hussein's death. Sayyaf disagrees with the ruler. Frank kills Sarah.

Omar meets Alaa with a fake identity, and Nadine monitors the latter. Nabil learns that Frank is traveling to Omar's location, so he warns Khaled and asks him not to tell Omar. Khaled and Omar ask to co-produce the film directed by Alaa, so the channel's owner grows suspicious. Frank meets Kamal.

It turns out that Frank is Safwan, Kamal's right-hand man, and as Nabil finds out, he tells Omar that he must return, but he refuses, so they agree to implement plan B. The ruler objects to Kamal's plan, and the latter informs Sayyaf of his goal to make Egypt the new hub of the jihadists.

Mohi interrogates Alaa, telling him that he'll be deported to Egypt if he refuses to convey information about the station he works for, which he refuses, but Nadine convinces him. Safwan sends one of his men to Egypt. The ruler tightens the security of his house and asks one of his men to monitor Sayyaf.

Nizar assassinates the ruler by order of Sayyaf, who becomes the new ruler and orders that his wife be imprisoned upon learning of her sister's escape. With his real identity, Omar meets Alaa and assigns him to photograph the safe of the director of the channel. Nabil asks that Rafiq be investigated.

Omar tells Alaa his real mission, to which Alaa agrees after some thought. Sayyaf kills Hind's sister. Nabil learns that Rafiq is trying to gather information about Omar. Nadine reveals to Omar the real reason why Safwan killed Sarah, so Omar devises a plan to entrap Safwan, which Khaled implements.

Khaled threatens Safwan with exposing him in front of Kamal so he'd stop looking for Omar and become a double agent. After the first phase of the plan to plant Alaa in ISIS ends, Omar puts him through a final test, which he passes. Khaled asks Safwan for information about Kamal's meeting in London.

Kamal suspects Safwan and tells Rafiq that he wants him to replace Safwan, whom Khaled assures that he didn't inform Kamal on him, then he asks him to inform him of the plan to transfer ISIS fighters, and Safwan asks in return for a huge sum and his protection. Abu Bilal sends for Alaa to join ISIS.

Alaa arrives at the organization's headquarters. Safwan tries to pressure Khaled into fulfilling his demands, so Khaled sends Kamal photos that expose the latter's wife's affair with Safwan to pressure Safwan into giving him the information, whereupon the latter agrees to travel with Omar to Egypt.

As Safwan arrives in Egypt, Nabil convinces him to give him the plan to transfer ISIS fighters, then Nabil begins planning to thwart it. Kamal tells Sayyaf that the agency was infiltrated and rejects his proposal to cancel or postpone the plan, stressing the need to stop those who try to thwart it.

As Alaa begins his work in the media unit of the organization, Sayyaf orders that he be put under surveillance. The intelligence service begins preparing for the mission of thwarting the plan to transfer ISIS fighters, while Kamal seeks to make sure that the plan is successfully implemented.

Omar and Nadine prepare to travel to one of the countries to which ISIS fighters will be transferred. As Nizar takes Alaa's flash drive, Alaa loses contact with Nadine after he sent some photos of the fighters. Sayyaf asks Kamal to prove that they are partners, so Kamal kills his spy, Abu Bilal.

As Nizar asks Sayyaf that he marry his ex-wife, Sayyaf promises to fulfill his request. Alaa replaces Abu Bilal in the media unit and continues sending the fighters' photos to Nadine. Nabil learns that Kamal sent a sniper to where Omar and Nadine are, so he asks Omar to find out why and prevent him.

Omar learns that Kamal asked Isaac to hide the sniper till the assassination of the opposition leader in the foreign country, whose intelligence officer refuses to believe Omar without proof; Omar informs him of the sniper's location, but he doesn't find him, so Omar decides to stop the sniper alone.

Omar foils the assassination attempt, and the sniper is arrested. As Kamal's boss scolds him, Kamal promises to implement the plan quickly. Nizar asks Sayyaf to keep him in the Levant to lead the group that will remain there, so Sayyaf promises to consider his request, and Nizar tells Hind about it.

Safwan gives Nabil Kamal's plan B. Kamal tells Sayyaf to prepare to move soon. As the plan is foiled, Kamal submits his resignation, and his boss accepts it but assigns him another position. Sayyaf visits Nizar to bless his marriage to Hind, who offers him a poisoned drink, which he gives to Nizar.

As Nizar dies, Hind commits suicide. Sayyaf and the fighters cross the border. Kamal tells Sayyaf he's carrying out plan B and turning the jihadists into mercenaries. Alaa manages to contact Nadine before their connection is cut off, so the intelligence finds out the location of the fighters.

Safwan tells Nabil that Kamal is assigned to transfer the mercenaries to Libya. Sayyaf tells Kamal he agreed to his plan to establish the Islamic state that he'll head, and not for the money. A young man carries out a terrorist attack, leading to an explosion in front of the National Cancer Institute.

Sayyaf tells Alaa of the need to raise the fighters' morale. Alaa gets his computer back and is able to send footage to Omar and Nabil, who realize that the organization is preparing for a big mission. As the fighters are taken to another place, Alaa forgets the flash drive. Sayyaf arrives in Egypt.

After the fighters arrive in Egypt, Khattab tells Sayyaf that he is suspicious of Alaa, and Sayyaf asks him to watch him. Alaa calls Omar to inform him of his whereabouts and the details of the terrorist attack to be carried out, whereupon Sayyaf exposes him.

Omar heads to the Western Desert to find Sayyaf, of which he tells Nabil. Sayyaf shoots Alaa and leaves him to die. After the attack is foiled and the terrorists are killed, Omar saves Alaa. It turns out that Sayyaf orchestrated the failed attack to distract the security services from the real mission.

Ayman meets Sayyaf, who pays him for weapons. When Ayman tries to flee the country, he gets arrested, and as Nabil interrogates him, he discovers that the attack will target the gas conference. Meanwhile, Alaa wakes up from his coma, tells Omar that he saw Sayyaf without a mask, and draws him.

As the intelligence infers that the targeted place is the Idku gas liquefaction station, they devise a plan to foil the attack. After the plan succeeds, Omar interrogates one of the terrorists and learns where Sayyaf is and that he has an explosive belt, with which Sayyaf flees before he's arrested.

Intelligence agents try to track Sayyaf's activities in Egypt to find him, while Kamal refuses to help the latter. Omar manages to arrest Sayyaf, and Nabil receives news of Kamal's suicide. Omar proposes to Nadine.
