Khalid is afraid that Yusuf might join a terrorist group. Ali decides to leave his wife and go for jihad in Afghanistan.

Saad raises a large sum of donations for the jihad in Afghanistan, and Umm Khalid insists on the divorce of her daughter Sarah from Ali.

Mohsen's manager asks him to split the bribes he receives from his clients. Heila asks Khalid to advise Yusuf and prevent him from publishing the flyers. Fahid blackmails Al-Anoud, but Mahmoud shoots him.

Mahmoud is sentenced to death with the sword for killing Fahid. Prince Mansour and Mahmoud's family try to convince Fahid's people to give up their right, and they refuse. It becomes clear that Saad agreed with Abu Fahid to ask for 3 million as blood money.

Khalid agrees with Juhair's friend to work with her and proposes to her. Saad suggests collecting donations for the blood money. Yusuf complains to Khalid about Saad's interference in his affairs. Ali returns, and his wife asks for a divorce.

Khalid's blood money is collected and he is pardoned. Khalid marries Taif. Ali bargains with Sarah to divorce her in exchange for a sum of money.

Saeed asks his people to put a teacher in each school so that the students can understand their methods. As Khalid tells Juhair that he has married Taif, she leaves the house and his mother gets angry with him.

As Yusuf is fired from the newspaper, his uncles try to persuade him not to write against Sharia. Juhair refuses to return to her husband Khalid's house. The Committee for the Promotion of Virtue arrests Khalid's son for his long hair.

Khalid insists on filing a lawsuit against the Committee, but Saad advises him to waive the report so that the matter does not turn against him. When Khalid discovers that Taif takes birth-control pills, he decides to divorce her.

Umm Guzel tells Khalid that Musaed is the son of Sheikh Musnad, after which Khalid threatens to expose Musnad if he does not admit that the boy is his son. Taif decides to return Khalid to her, and Mohsen submits a report to the minister against his manager accusing him of bribery.

As the Gulf War takes place, Saeed worries about the Muslim Brotherhood's party in Kuwait from being dismantled. Khalid receives his cousin Jassem and his family after their arrival from Kuwait.

Taif apologizes to Khalid and tells him she is pregnant. As Yusuf and Rashid launch a campaign to teach women to drive cars, the police arrest them after a fight erupts between them and the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice (CPVPV).

Umm Khalid asks her son to buy a bigger house next to her sister Umm Mahmoud, while Taif asks him to tell his mother about her pregnancy. The Muslim Brotherhood party led by Saeed decides to leave Saudi Arabia after they failed to sow discord among the university youth.

Taif agrees with Mahmoud's wife to tell Juhair that Taif returned to Khalid and is pregnant with his child, which ignites the tension between Khalid and Juhair. Khalid and Abu Saad are angry after Mohsen raises the price of the land when he sells it to them.

The Gulf War occurs, and with the announcement of Iraq's use of chemicals, Khalid and Abu Saad decide to buy satellite dishes to see news of the war, but the CPVPV destroys all the dishes on the houses.

Taif falsely claims that she has lost her fetus, and the police issues a decision to arrest Turki, so the latter escapes with his relatives.

Khalid quarrels with his son Sami, who rushes out in his father's car, and runs over a guy. The police accuse Khalid but arrest the runaway son.

In prison, Sami gets acquainted with a terrorist who calls him to jihad in Afghanistan. Mohsen marries the minister's sister behind his wife's back. Khalid discovers that his wife, Taif, has lied about her pregnancy and abortion, and she kicks him out of the house.

Mohsen celebrates his promotion as Deputy Minister. Khalid divorces Taif. Turki travels to London and asks Mansour to build him a house. Sami shocks his dad, Khalid by threatening to destroy the TV, for it is prohibited in Islam. Badr dies because of the CPVPV, and his wife is sent to hospital.

Mohsen is suspended from work after a ministry reshuffle and is to be investigated. The police raid a terrorist group's den, shoot Sami, and arrest him.
