The play presents an inner conflict between reason and emotion, between memories and the present, and between dream and reality. A man is torn between two women: the first is his former lover, representing memories and loyalty, while the second is a new woman who embodies hope and change. Both women are aware of the truth, while the man himself lives in constant hesitation between them.
