As President Sadat visits the people of the island, the body of an unknown girl appears in the sea, so Muharib tries to control the people. One of the residents is severely punished for trying to reach the police to report the body, as it becomes clear that the villagers do not leave the island.

As Khaldoun tells El Ajami that Madyan appeared to Al-Ayqa in a dream, they ask him to build a shrine and do a carnival for the people of the village; El Ajami rejects their request and asks them to leave the island. Khaldoun recruits the children to gather information about the island's inhabitants.

El Ajami agrees that Muharib will take over the island's sheikhdom after the death of Sheikh Madyan. Batlan tells El Ajami that whoever killed the island girl is a stranger who assaulted her, then killed her and threw her into the sea.

When El Ajami knows that Arafat is homeless, he gives him a room to live in, and Arafat tells him that he saw Madyan in a dream, and he asked him to warn him of the storm. As El Ajami pressures Dorra, she reveals to him that Sundus likes Arafat.

Muharib incites the island's youth to rise against El Ajami and asks them to hold accountable everyone who does wrong on the island. Khaldoun agrees with Batlan that Al-Ayqa reads his fortune in exchange for allowing them to stay on the island.

El Ajami asks Arafat to escape from the island or take the fall for Sundus' death and tells everyone that he killed her after a love story between them. El Ajami decides to imprison Arafat in his house. Dorra tells her father that Qadri, Batlan's son, was in love with Sundus.

El Ajami interrogates Qadri, who tells him that his father loved Sundus, and that he did not kill her, so he decides to imprison him with Arafat. As El Ajami gets angry at Muharib after Dorra is harassed by his followers, he asks Arafat to stay away from Dorra.

Khaldoun tells Yusri that he has divorced his wife, Al-Ayqa, and asks him to sit with her in order to get to know her. As Batlan asks El Ajami to marry, he convinces him to let the gypsies stay to support him against Muharib. El Ajami freaks out when his stores are robbed.

As Maliha tells El Ajami that Madi did not kill Sundus, she asks him to search for the real killer. El Ajami orders the elders of the island to take out half of their food and drink for the poor. He also tells Arafat that Dorra loves him and asks him to marry her; Arafat refuses.

When Muharib's men attack the gypsies den, Khaldoun turns to El Ajami and complains about them. El Ajami confesses to his daughter that he is married to Hilala. Arafat orders Helli to give the people of the island what they need from the store of El Ajami, who decides to imprison him.

Khaldoun goes to the families of the children of the island and warns them not to sit with Arafat. Khaldoun plots a scandal for Arafat and asks Al-Ayqa to go to his room, but he escapes the scandal, so Khaldoun plots something else for him.

Arafat asks Al-Ayqa to teach him to swim, and in return, she asks him to teach her to read and write. She also asks him to show her her parents' grave. Dorra agrees to marry Najah. Khaldoun claims that Arafat assaulted Al-Ayqa.

Khaldoun negotiates with Al-Ayqa to kill Arafat in exchange for staying away from her, while Muharib threatens Arafat and asks him to stay away from Al-Ayqa. El Ajami receives the Grand Pasha, who asks for a man from the island to read him his fortune.

El Ajami resorts to Al-Ayqa in order to read the Pasha his fortune, and in return, Khaldoun asks for a large house for the gypsies. After the Pasha expels Al-Ayqa and Khaldoun and tells El Ajami that he did not feel comfortable with them, El Ajami takes him to Arafat, whom the Pasha likes.

El Ajami asks for Bannoura’s hand in marriage. Hamdi admits that Najah and Qadri kidnapped and killed Sundus. Batlan threatens El Ajami not to come near his son Qadri. Sundus’ ghost appears and kills both Najah and Qadri.

Arafat asks Maliha to forgive Hamdi, then she dies. Hilala begs El Ajami to divorce her. As Arafat rejects Muharib's talk and intimidation of the people, he asks him to return the box of the mosque, which Muharib does.

Arafat asks Al-Ayqa to marry him. El Ajami tells the elders of the town that Arafat will take the place of Sheikh Madyan instead of Muharib. Khaldoun asks Batlan to be hostile to El Ajami and divide the island. Arafat warns the people of the monastery of Satan.

Arafat gives the money of the mosque fund to the poor and another part to the school. El Ajami agrees to Yusri's request to conduct a debate between Arafat and Muharib to determine which of them is best suited to take over the sheikhdom of the island. Arafat teaches Al-Ayqa to write her name.

Arafat enters into an argument with Muharib and Yusri and blames them after leaving him alone and without shelter. As Batlan and Khaldoun join Muharib and Yusri's side, El Ajami declares a state of emergency on the island. Muharib gathers his men and prepares for battle.

Arafat tells Al-Ayqa the secret he had promised her. As Batlan divides the island and appoints himself as ruler of the northern part, El Ajami warns him and refuses to challenge him so that the matter does not escalate for the worse.

El Ajami refuses Arafat's request to go to the northern part of the island and try to fix things and decides to imprison Arafat, who takes the children to the northern part. Khaldoun incites Batlan to kill Arafat.

Arafat and the children of the island cross the fence to everyone's shock. Dargham shoots and hits Al-Ayqa instead of Arafat. El Ajami tells the people that the island will not be divided and will return to the way it was. Khaldoun hatches a new plan for Arafat.

Khaldoun courts Arafat and asks for his forgiveness and to come with him to the sea. As Arafat treats the children in a bad way, they flee from him, while the plan of Al-Ayqa and Zain succeeds.

As Ghashi's men kidnap Arafat, Ghashi asks him to show his superpowers, after which he tells his men to let Arafat go. El Ajami refuses to forgive Batlan and sets conditions in order to forgive him.

Arafat flees from the mountain, while Khaldoun steals his diary and tells the people of the island that he is the one who expelled Arafat and his demons and that he knows every little thing about their past. Khaldoun also asks for Dorra's hand.

As Ghashi's men turn against him, they plot to overthrow him and get his gold. El Ajami tells Dorra that Khaldoun wants to marry her and she refuses. Hilala refuses Al-Ayqa's request to abort Bannoura's fetus. Arafat finds the grave of Al-Ayqa's mother.

As Al-Ayqa tells Hilala that she will leave her home because she is a good-hearted woman, unlike her, she stabs Khaldoun in the arm and runs away. Hilala quarrels with Khaldoun, and Arafat saves Ghashi from the hands of his men.

Ghashi shows Arafat Ghamam Island. El Ajami tells Khaldoun that Dorra rejected him. As Khaldoun tells everyone that all their secrets are with him, he resorts to magic in order to get Dorra, and Arafat tries to stop him.

After Arafat rescues Dorra from Khaldoun, El Ajami finds out and tells Arafat that Dorra will be his. As Arafat discovers that Khaldoun stole Sheikh Madyan's diary, he warns the people of the island that the storm is coming.

As Arafat tells Al-Ayqa where her parents' grave is, he marries Dorra. The people of the island kill Khaldoun. As a storm sweeps the island, the people take shelter in the ship's cave. The years pass, and Arafat grows old and tells his children his last will.
