As El Tohamy helps Suleiman financially after Nuseiba defrauded him, he admires his daughter Jamila, while Sahnoun goes with his wife and son Samir to visit Warda.

Sahnoun wants to buy most of the agricultural land in the area. Saada takes care of her wheelchair-bound mother and her elderly father. As El Tayeb is found dead on his land, the police come to investigate.

The police investigates El Tayeb's murder, and Musa returns home in a terrible state and quarrels with Sahnoun.

As Kulthum goes to ask for Jamila's hand for her son, her father refuses and kicks him out because of his work with Sahnoun. Musa tries to hold on and return back to normal.

Sahnoun asks Houria to visit El Araby in his house, and there Saada quarrels with her. As Musa's condition worsens, Houria decides to take him to a psychiatrist.

El Araby decides to stay in the house, despite Sahnoun's dislike of the situation. El Tohamy wants to marry Jamila, which pleases her mother.

As El Tohamy decides to marry Jamila, he tells his two children about the matter, and goes to propose to Suleiman, despite her opposition. Sahnoun blames his son for his repeated visits to El Araby.

As Nawara prepares everything for the marriage of her daughter Jamila to El Tohamy, Jamila cries because she's in love with another young man, and Nawara asks Louisa to persuade her daughter.

Musa recovers, and El Tohamy learns that Jamila refuses to marry him. Sahnoun works to buy the residents' lands despite Houria's opposition.

Shweha fights with Suleiman over Jamila, and Sahnoun tries to convince El Araby to sell the land.

Noura's cattle are stolen by Sahnoun and Jamal, while Suleiman sets the date for Jamila's marriage to El Tohamy.

As Jamila gets ready to marry El Tohamy, Shweha grieves, and Sahnoun meets El Araby at his home.

As their wedding approaches, El Tohamy brings gifts to Jamila, and Sahnoun quarrels with Musa and wants to admit him to a mental hospital.

Shweha fears that he will be accused of burning down Suleiman's shop. As El Tohamy offers Jamila's dowry to her father, the wedding ceremony takes place.

Jamila behaves harshly with El Tohamy's children in the hope of getting a divorce. Shweha proposes that Sahnoun marry El Tayeb's sister to facilitate taking the land from him, and Musa is hospitalized.

Jamila treats Khaled and Souad harshly and holds on to her love for Shweha despite El Tohamy's love for her. Musa is discharged from the hospital after his condition improves.

Sahnoun quarrels with Saada because of Musa, and Nawara visits Jamila and advises her to treat the children well.

Jamila quarrels with Souad. Houria insists that Musa not be taken to the hospital and seeks the help of El Tayeb's family to save him from Sahnoun. El Tohamy tries to keep El Araby away from Sahnoun to marry Saada and take the land.

Musa goes to the doctor, who decides to help him so that he can speak. Jamila treats Souad like a maid and starts getting dressed up for El Tohamy.

El Tohamy's treatment of his children changes, as he prefers Jamila over them. Musa recovers from his illness, and Saada and El Araby continue to meet.

El Araby and Saada are happy when Musa finally speaks, and he goes to the police, accusing Sahnoun of killing El Tayeb. Sahnoun buys all the residents' lands, and Jamila steals the jewelry and money box from El Tohamy and gives it to Shweha.

Saada is afraid that El Araby will confront Sahnoun for causing El Tayeb's death. El Tohamy beats his daughter because of Jamila, whom he favors over his children. El Araby incites landowners against Sahnoun to recover their lands.

Sahnoun gets engaged to Souad, El Tohamy's daughter. El Araby wants to open his business in the village despite the fact that Sahnoun owns most of the land. El Tohamy quarrels with his son when he discovers that he goes to school.

El Tohamy agrees to Souad's engagement to Sahnoun, and Jamila rejoices. Shweha is hospitalized, and the police arrest his accomplices in his crimes.

Saada quarrels with Jamila in order to save Souad from her, and Jamila suffers from a psychological disorder after learning about Shweha's imprisonment. El Araby and Musa succeed in liberating the lands from the grip of Sahnoun.

As Jamila goes mad, El Tohamy discovers that she was seeing Shweha, so he divorces her and takes her back to her parents' house. Sahnoun is imprisoned after it was proven that he had defrauded the residents.
