Abu Issa controls the market, exploits the people’s poverty and pressures them to pay their debts or sell their property to him. Jassem asks Abu Issa to employ his son Farhan to prevent him from harming the people.
Jassem loses his business due to the rain and tries to sell what he produces to Abu Issa. At the same time, Abu Nazim tries to convince Ruwaished to work in real estate and leave work for Abu Issa, who beats Farhan because he does not agree on the work system.
As Jassem travels to take up his new job, Sarah is afraid that Ruwaished is going to marry another woman to have children. Abu Issa quarrels with Abu Sweilem over the priority of watering his farm, and the merchant Baddah meets Abu Issa and asks him for a large order of cloaks (abayas).
Baddah reneges on his agreement with Abu Issa and asks Abu Musa to complete the order for the abayas. At the same time, Badriya suspects the existence of a relationship between her husband Jassem, and Dr. Julia.
A major fire breaks out in Abu Musa's abaya store, so Abu Issa offers to deliver the order to him. Sultan quarrels with Jassem because the latter is getting closer to Julia. Ruwaished is upset that his wife resorts to strange actions to give birth.
Ruwaished discovers that Abu Issa is behind the burning of Abu Musa’s store. Farhan decides to take revenge on Abu Issa for his violence towards him, while Abu Issa’s wife offers Badriya a job as a cook for her.
Badriya resents Jassem's decision to continue traveling for work. Ruwaished's wife resorts to magic to give birth, while Sultan causes Jassem to get into trouble at work to keep him away from Julia. Abu Radi tries to convince Abu Sweilem to sell his land to Abu Saud.
Khalifa disappears, and Ruwaished searches for him. The police arrest Samidj and accuse him of theft. It becomes clear that there is a relationship between Abu Issa and Maryam, and Jassem gets angry when he learns of Badriya’s work for Abu Issa.
After Jassem divorces Badriya, Abu Issa proposes to her and she agrees. Khalifa’s body is found in the lake, and Abu Issa announces his marriage to Maryam.
Years pass and Ruwaished's wife becomes pregnant, while Matouq asks him to marry his sister. Badriya takes control of Abu Issa's house, which ignites tension between her and Sheikha.
Abu Issa seeks to find out why Musa closed his council. Ruwaished convinces his sister to agree to marry Matouq, and a henna night is held. Badriya changes the way she treats Abu Issa and insists on her son’s return, and Jassem becomes a dervish.
As Abu Issa returns to Maryam, Sultan searches for Jassem. Abu Musa tells Abu Taher about his wife’s vow that if she gives birth to a girl, she will marry her to a donkey, and a wedding ceremony is held for Matouq and Umm Ahmed.
Matouq is surprised on his wedding night by the return of Abu Ahmed. Tension breaks out among the co-wives in Abu Issa’s house, while Farhan works for a major merchant and succeeds in gaining his trust.
As Umm Ahmed refuses to be divorced from Matouq, Sarah gives birth, and Abu Musa is surprised by Baddah wearing an abaya from the burned stock.
Ruwaished seeks to convince Abu Issa to cooperate with Abu Hamad in his new business, so Abu Issa tries to collect money, and asks Abu Othman to sell his palm trees or pay what he owes. On the other hand, Jassem returns to search for his son Farhan.
As Ahmed and Farhan discover the truth about Abu Issa stealing Abu Musa’s abayas before the stock is burned, they inform the police, and Zamil confesses to everything. Sheikha tries to incite Abu Issa’s children against Badriya, and Jassem continues searching for his son Farhan.
As work begins at the factory in which Abu Issa and Abu Ahmed partnered up together, Ruwaished's son falls ill, and tension breaks out between Badriya and Sheikha.
Abu Issa is taken to the hospital after Badriya poisons him. As Abu Ahmed tries to find out if Abu Issa had a hand in the death of his son Khalifa, Jassem decides to make handmade abayas again away from Abu Issa’s factory.
As Abu Ahmed vows revenge on Abu Issa, Farhan is upset that Abu Othman sold his shop to pay off Abu Issa’s debts. The latter agrees to transfer ownership of the house in Badriya’s name, and Maryam steals Badriya’s gold.
Badriya discovers that her jewelry has disappeared, and Maryam accuses her of casting a spell on Abu Issa. Farhan agrees to take over the management of Abu Othman’s farm, while Ruwaished's son dies.
Jassem opens a small coffee shop and a library and holds poetry sessions. Abu Issa treats Badriya badly and locks her in her room. Irfan cuts off the water to Abu Issa’s farm.
The police arrest Jassem and close the café. Issa tells his father that Abu Ahmed is forcing workers to work for him. Maryam and Fatima go to school, and Jawad and Ruqaya get engaged.
Abu Musa insists that Jawad and Ruqaya's marriage take place after four years, Issa travels to complete his studies, and Ruwaished discovers the gold treasure hidden by Abu Ahmed.
Badriya gives birth to a baby girl, whom Abu Issa takes, prevents Badriya from seeing her, and divorces her. However, Farhan decides to take revenge on him and kidnaps his daughter Fatima. Abu Hamad is shocked that his treasure got stolen.
Jassem and Ahmed rescue Fatima and she returns to her father’s house, Abu Issa. Abu Ahmed takes revenge on Abu Issa, handcuffs him, and throws him into the water to die in revenge for his son Khalifa. Badriya’s daughter returns to her arms, and Zahra’s parents die.
