Kate dies in the hospital, and her mother, Elise, is surprised by her mother-in-law, Mona, asking her to vacate the apartment. Wissam, on the other hand, remains sad about Kate's death.

Elise is forced to vacate the house. After a year, Wissam agrees with Mirna to organize a celebration for sick children in the hospital on Eid, and Elise decides to donate her efforts to work in the hospital.

Wissam tells Mirna that Kate died at his hands. Wissam agrees with the director of his program to collect donations to provide medicine for the children in the hospital. Elise is surprised when Mona donates to the children and remembers leaving her granddaughter to death.

A quarrel between Elise and Mona causes an increase in donations to the hospital, and Elise gets close to the child Maya and finds what she needs in her.

Kate's father kidnaps his wife, Elise, and threatens to kill her if she does not return to him. Elise manages to escape and seek help from Wissam, who approaches Elise and confesses his love to her.

Elise asks to take Maya with her to stay at her house on the eve of Eid. The hospital administration agrees, and Wissam supports her.

Wissam tells Elise that he is the person who accompanied her daughter in the last moments of her life. Maya falls ill and needs treatment abroad, so Wissam takes care of the matter, and Elise and Wissam travel with her.
