Hennawi works in the car trade, and he, his wife, and his married daughter all live a disturbing life in the same house. Later at work, Hennawi sees Al Minshawi as suspicious.
Hennawi causes his friend Mahrous's car to explode while he is inside it. At the hospital, he discovers that his daughter Samar is not a doctor. On the other hand, a quarrel breaks out between Laila and one of her neighbors.
Problems increase between Hennawi, the head of the landlords' association, and the residents because he is raising animals on the roof of the building. Suhail, the new neighbor, wants to change the situation by taking advantage of Hennawi's admiration for her.
The relationship between Hennawi and Suhail becomes stronger, and he falls in love with her. On the other hand, it becomes clear that Al Minshawi, Hennawi's competitor in the car trade, is the leader of a gang that deals in antiquities.
Hennawi and his friend Mahrous spend a day in a hotel, and the latter gives Hennawi a cigarette that gets him high. Eventually, Hennawi ends up in Suhail's apartment while she is filming a scene for her movie, but Laila sees him there and thinks that he cheated on her.
Suhail asks Hennawi to marry her so that she can stay in Egypt. Meanwhile, Laila gets angry and goes to her family's house.
Laila returns to Hennawi's house again after they reconciled with the help of Suhail. Later, Hennawi helps Suhail marry Hassan, who works for him in the workshop, so she can be able to stay in Egypt and finish her work.
When Kalbaz goes out in search of Safaa, who left her child with him and disappeared, his wife, Hasanat, misunderstands the issue and kicks him out of the house.
After a dispute between Kalbaz and Hasanat, the latter feels sorry for the child and decides to adopt him. On the other hand, a fight breaks out between Hennawi and Moanes because of Moanes' wish to sell the apartment in which Hennawi and his family live.
Hennawi is involved in a car accident after he hits the gang leader, Hamouda Al Minshawi, with his car. As he hurries to hide the body before anyone notices, he runs into a police checkpoint on the road.
The tension affects everyone as Suhail can no longer bear life with Hassan and his family. Kalbaz and Hasanat witness the death of the child's mother. As for Hennawi, he realizes that he cannot hide the body in the workshop and is still looking for a hiding place for it.
All of Hennawi's attempts to get rid of Hamouda's body fail. However, when Laila's mother dies, Hennawi travels with Hamouda's body and Laila's mother's body so that he'd bury them together without anyone knowing.
Hennawi finally manages to bury Hamouda's body in the same graveyard as his mother-in-law's body. He returns home with his family, thinking that he will find peace in his life again, but he does not know that a dangerous gang is looking for Hamouda's body.
Moanes is still attempting to persuade Hennawi to give up the apartment to the landlord. Meanwhile, Hennawi suffers from Hamouda's ghost, which haunts him. Hasanat discovers that she is barren and that she, not her husband Kalbaz, is sick.
Hennawi tries to get rid of Hamouda's ghost, who is haunting him everywhere until Hennawi becomes on the brink of madness. Later, he finds a strange phone in his workshop with a message from someone who seems to know what happened to Hamouda and is searching for his body.
As Hennawi ignores the phone he finds and turns it off, which angers the gang, they arrive at Hennawi's workshop while searching for the phone.
The gang teaches Hennawi a lesson that he will not forget after he offended their leader. Later, he enlists the help of Kalbaz to collect more information about the gang leader so that he can strike back at him. He discovers that he is a corrupt businessman, and the gang kidnaps Hennawi in their lair.
Hennawi seeks help from Mahrous so that he can mislead the gang and go to Hamouda's cemetery to investigate something. However, he is surprised by the disappearance of Hamouda's body, the presence of Tharwat Al Omari's body instead, and that Hamouda Al Minshawi is still alive.
When Hennawi learns that Hamouda is still alive and of the gang's desire to kill the latter, he seeks Kalbaz's help. They go to the nightclubs where Hamouda goes and kidnap him before the gang arrives.
After Hennawi kidnaps him, Hamouda Al Minshawi confesses everything he knows and says that his death was only a rumor to escape from the gang. Unfortunately, the gang manages to reach Hennawi, kill Hamouda, and kidnap Mahrous, upon which Hennawi has to hand over Tharwat's body.
Moanes finds a job opportunity, and Kalbaz goes to the child's father and insists on adopting him. As Hennawi sets a trap for the gang, invites them to his mother-in-law's town and orders the townspeople to beat them.
Hennawi tells Laila everything that happened to him, which worries her. He goes to meet Kalbaz, and Gaber calls them on Tharwat's phone. Hennawi tells him about what he did to his men. Hennawi and Kalbaz begin to plot to get rid of Gaber.
Shehata goes to Hennawi's house and asks about him, but no one tells him anything. As for Hennawi, he tries to solve the riddle of the paper before the gang, so he and Kalbaz go to Amr, who tells them that the numbers are the coordinates of a place.
Hennawi and Kalbaz seek a professional thief's help to enter Gaber's apartment and search for the text of the missing paper. Indeed, they manage to find it, in addition to several important documents that may destroy the lives of Gaber and his gang.
Hennawi hands over the papers incriminating Gaber to the police, and he gets arrested. Hennawi discovers that the code he found leads him to a place in Luxor.
Moanes loses his job after his friends set him up. As for Hennawi, he heads to Luxor in search of the treasure mentioned in the paper, taking advantage of the presence of Gaber and his gang under police custody for interrogation.
Hennawi, Kalbaz, and Laila begin their journey to Luxor. Amr stops them with recordings of Gaber threatening to kill Hennawi after finding Tharwat's body. Gaber begins to implement his plan, but Kalbaz saves Hennawi.
Hennawi discovers that the Luxor referred to in the code is not the city but rather a garden in the Nazlet El-Semman area of Al Haram that belongs to Tharwat Al Amri's brother. Hennawi decides to show his neighbors the location of the treasure so that they can all help him.
Hennawi decides to help Moanes after what happened to him and give him the money he took from Amr's aunt so that he does not end up in prison. Amr finally proposes to Nermin, and Nermin agrees.
Hennawi, with the help of his neighbors, manages to reach the garden and dig in it. They discover that the treasure is an ancient statue. However, Hennawi is shocked to know that Mahrous, his old friend, is the one who planned everything and is the real gang leader.
