The people of the village of Al Aliya suffer from the injustice of its ruler. Obaid kills Ghalab because of the charlatan Qatam. Thubia and Helal exchange looks of admiration. Shaddad fears for his father, Fadel, after he has shared his land with Tawfiq to protect him from the ruler.

The ruler orders his assistant, Thabit, to bury Ghalab in Tawfiq's land. Qasim finds Ghalab's body, and Qatam incites Mani'a to accuse Fadel of killing Ghalab.

Ghazal resorts to witchcraft with the help of Fatim because she has no children. The ruler incites Fatim to ignite discord in the village. Mani'a discovers that Shaddad is covering up a stranger in the warehouse, while Helal arrests Awad with the weapon in his possession.

Awad denies killing Ghalab. Fadel suspects that Salman killed Ghalab because of Muhammad's testimony that he cleaned the blood from the machete. Judge Abd al-Rahman complains to the ruler about his men's injustice to the people of the village. Shaddad is surprised when Safiya enters Salman's cell.

Thubia and Shaddad arrive at Salman's cell to protect him from Safiya. Thubia confesses to her mother that Helal wants to marry her. Shaddad is surprised when his diary disappears. Mani'a pays a bribe to the guard to meet Salman.

Mani'a tries to convince Salman to claim that Fadel killed Ghalab. The stranger hears Mani'a attempt to reach an agreement with Salman and threatens him. Qatam stirs up the ruler's hatred toward Shaddad, who finds his diary.

The villagers accuse Fadel of imprisoning Salman without evidence. Abd al-Rahman complains to the ruler that someone put a scented handkerchief in his bed, while Farida claims to the ruler that Nadira slipped the handkerchief into the judge's bed. Muhsana testifies that Salman is innocent before Fadel.

As the son of the sheikh of the lower village proposes to Thubia, Shaddad discovers that she is engaged to Helal. Salman is released, and Masoud mediates to release Nadira, while Fadel refuses to wed Helal to Thubia.

The ruler orders Qatam to watch Shaddad, while Thubia is surprised by her father's refusal that she marry Helal. The ruler imposes taxes on the people of Al Aliya.

The judge and Fadel cooperate with the people of the village to pay Ghalab's blood money to his family. Fadel responds to his daughter's request by refusing her marriage to the son of the sheikh of the lower village. Helal falsely claims to have written articles hostile to the ruler.

Thabit confesses to killing Obaid after killing Ghalab and burying him in the land of Tawfiq, in compliance with the ruler's wish. The ruler orders that Helal be flogged in front of the public, and Fadel agrees to Helal's marriage to Thubia.

Fadel dismisses soldier Abdul Ghafoor from his work for assaulting Salman. Abdul Ghafoor publishes Salman's visit to a woman at her house at night. Fadel scolds the villagers for spreading rumors about Salman and the woman's relationship. Mani'a sets fire to Helal's house.

Alwan dies in the fire, and the governor is surprised by the ruler's desire to replace him. Fadel is surprised by Tawfiq's request to sell his land, and Helal is surprised when his father dies by burning.

Fadel threatens Mahdi that he will kill him after selling his land to the ruler. The relationship between Thubia and Helal becomes tense after his father's death. Mani'a tells the ruler that Fadel has collected the signatures of the village sheikhs to dismiss the ruler.

Thabit steals Fadel's stores in his absence. Mani'a cooperates with the ruler, hoping to become the sheikh of Al Aliya, and the ruler seeks to get close to Abd al-Rahman.

Fadel discovers that Soldier Muhammad has betrayed him. The ruler informs Abd al-Rahman of Judge Mansour's approval of his marriage to his daughter. Mani'a kills Muhammad so that he will not admit his cooperation with him to facilitate the theft of Fadel's stores.

Fadel is surprised by the killing of Muhammad. The ruler agrees to the conditions of the people of Al Aliya to expel Qatam and return the stolen items with his promise to implement the punishment of God on the soldiers. Awad refuses to return to work with Fadel.

Awad suspects that Mani'a and Qatam are plotting to trap Fadel. Abd al-Rahman is surprised by the disappearance of the ruler and the soldiers from the ruling headquarters. The ruler and his soldiers fire bullets after they stormed Al Aliya, and Fadel's house is besieged.

The ruler's soldiers search for Shaddad and Helal. Mani'a falsely testifies that Fadel killed Muhammad and claims that there is an illegal relationship between Thubia and Helal to discredit Fadel.

Safiya is subjected to torture, so she testifies to the bad reputation of Thubia. The ruler appoints Mani'a as the sheikh of Al Aliya. Thubia is subjected to torture, and the ruler takes custody of the judge for refusing to issue a ruling for Thubia, who dies in prison.

Qatam returns to Al Aliya by order of the ruler. Fadel is isolated in the mountain. Safiya is surprised by the return of Obaid to the village. Qatam arrests Awad after exposing Safiya's false claim against Thubia.

Aziza refuses to leave her house to live with Fadel in the mountain, and Abd al-Rahman holds the wedding of Nadira and Masoud without the knowledge of the ruler, who goes to live in Al Aliya after buying half of its land.

Abd al-Rahman tells Helal and Shaddad what happened in their absence, and Masoud and Nadira flee from the ruler's house. Shaddad and Helal take revenge on the people of Al Aliya by slaughtering their livestock and leaving a piece of Thubia's cloth in every house.

Mahdi and Tawfiq are amazed that the ruler gave aid to Fadel's house, and the ruler is surprised that Qatam has bought lands in Al Aliya with his wife Farida's money. Thabit kills Nabil.

The ruler decides not to impose taxes on the people of Al Aliya. Tawfiq accuses Fadel of killing Nabil, and Helal kills Tawfiq. Aziza is surprised by the return of Shaddad and the ruler orders that Fadel be killed.

Awad meets Shaddad and Helal, and Abd al-Rahman helps Shaddad and Helal steal the ruler's ammunition. The ruler orders the burning of Abdul Ghafoor's house, while Abd al-Rahman and Qatam are arrested.

Qatam persuades the ruler to release him, and Mahdi is killed during an exchange of fire between Helal and Shaddad and the ruler's soldiers. Salman is arrested for covering up Helal and Shaddad. The ruler imposes a curfew on the people of Al Aliya.

The numbers of those joining Shaddad and Helal are increasing to take revenge on Qatam and the ruler. Qatam orders his wife to flee with his children outside the village, and Shaddad is surprised by Helal's killing of Thabit.

Abdul Ghafoor dies from a gunshot wound, and Abd al-Rahman is freed due to the mutiny of some soldiers at the ruler's headquarters. Mani'a kills Helal, while Awad releases Qatam.

Shaddad announces a reward for whoever finds Mani'a, and Aziza is surprised by the loss of the ruler's mind. Masoud and Nadira have a son, and the ruler kills Mani'a by mistake, while Shaddad marries and has a son, and Fadel returns to Al Aliya.
