The Hop Wei gang struggles to find new methods of survival as police pressure intensifies. At the same time, Leary grows irritated by the limitations placed by the City Council, while Long Zii builds influential new alliances.

Ah Sahm and Young Jun grapple with producing counterfeit banknotes that appear authentic, gaining crucial printing guidance from an unlikely ally. Meanwhile, the Secret Service continues its hunt for the fake currency, and Mai Ling begins associating with a new circle.

Strickland makes intimidating moves to claim Nellie’s territory, then bolsters Leary’s faith in his own political potential, while friction steadily grows between Young Jun and Ah Sahm.

Shattered by the loss of Nellie’s land, Ah Toy is forced to make a painful decision. Mai Ling seals a business agreement with Eliza, while an unsettling meeting leaves Li Yong on edge, and Ah Sahm and Yan Mi act with great caution during a police raid.

Ah Sahm takes a bold risk to safeguard Yan Mi, Mai Ling confronts the fallout of her choices, and Leary hits his limit after a devastating move by Strickland.

The Secret Service penetrates the Tong family’s printing operation, putting Ah Sahm in a position to choose between his Hop Wei brothers and his future with Yan Mi, while Young Jun seizes a chance to deliver a deadly strike to Long Zii.
