Mia flees Lebanon with her two children, Zain and Shams, due to the 2014 explosions, but the bus is involved in an accident and the two children disappear. More than 10 years later, Mia and Hazem are still searching for the kids.
Mia meets someone who tells her about a neighbor, who adopted a child after she was involved in an accident in 2014. Mia and Hazem go to confirm what he said, which prompts them to do a DNA test for that child.
Mia resorts to tranquilizers, and Hazem tries to get closer to her and fix their relationship again, while he thinks about ending his relationship with Elissar.
Mia is shocked after seeing pictures of Fadi's daughter, Sila, in her childhood, because of the resemblance between her and her missing daughter, Shams. On the other hand, Mia resorts to Abu Ammar to take sedative pills from him after the DNA tests of Rama turn out negative.
Mia tries to get closer to Fadi's family after learning from Hazem that Sila is their adopted daughter after Hanaa was involved in an accident that caused her to lose her uterus.
Fadi and Hanaa become tense after Mia confronts them with pictures of Shams when she was young, only to discover that she is Sila. Hazem confirms that they adopted Shams a week after the accident and confronts Fadi about it, which forces Fadi and Hanaa to think about traveling and moving away.
Hazem files a lawsuit against Fadi and Hanaa, so Fadi is forced to ask for an amicable solution to the matter, taking into consideration Sila's psyche, as Sila refuses the presence of Mia and Hazem after learning the truth. Abu Ammar uses Sharaara to seize Adel's workshop to use it for storing drugs.
Fadi and Hanaa ask Hazem for time to convince Sila of the reality and go live with him. Sharaara faints while selling drugs to Mia, so she takes him to the hospital.
Hazem and Mia try to get close to Sila, but she refuses to live with them and asks to return to Fadi and Hanaa’s house. Elissar quarrels with Hazem because he is busy, so he asks her to end their relationship.
Abu Ammar exploits Sharaara to seize Adel's workshop, but Sharaara disappoints him and spoils his attempts. Hazem, with Fadi's help, tries to reach the person who brought them Sila, as they are trying to find out information about Zain.
Based on the therapist's advice, Hazem tries to convince Mia to allow Fadi and Hanaa to visit Sila. News of Sila's adoption gets leaked to the newspapers and Sila is transferred to the hospital. On the other hand, Mia discovers Hazem's affair with Elissar but chooses not to confront them.
After Sila suffers a nervous shock, Hazem offers Fadi to return her to them temporarily until her condition improves. Mia collapses at this decision, and Fadi helps Hazem search for Abu Ammar, who brought Sila to him to get any information about Zain.
Adel and his wife hide Sharaara, his mother, and Naseem after Abu Ammar beats them. Assi threatens Adel with harm if he does not give him the workshop. Sila remembers her memories before the accident and Fadi tells her that they are searching for her brother, Zain.
Sharaara reports his father and uncle's drug dealing, and the security forces surround Assi's house. Abu Ammar shoots Sharaara while Mia is there, and she is arrested. Hazem and Fadi confront Abu Ammar to find out where Zain is, and Mia confronts Hazem about his relationship with Elissar.
Abu Ammar confesses to Fadi and Hazem that Sharaara and Naseem are not his children and that Sharaara is Zain, Hazem and Mia's son. As Zain goes to live with Hazem and Mia, Shams joins them and accepts her new family. Moreover, Hazem and Mia take care of Naseem's expenses.
