The maid finds Salim's body in his room. The police, led by Officer Muhammad, investigated the case and discovered that the crime occurred in just 45 seconds. Muhammad points the finger at Naira, and Murad's wife finds a shoe hidden in the wardrobe.

Mazen is shocked by the news of Salim's death. The detectives' investigations into the case continue, and Kamla reveals Salim's deteriorating psychological state before his death and his falling into addiction. The police arrest Murad because his fingerprints were found on the murder weapon.

Murad suspects Mazen's involvement in Salim's murder. A flashback reveals the enmity between Salim and many of his friends. Murad's wife receives a phone call from an unknown person, who offers to reveal the killer in exchange for a sum of money.

Naira is killed under mysterious circumstances. Muhammad interrogates everyone again and suspects Mazen, who proves that he has an alibi, and it turns out that the person who made the phone call to reveal the killer is the nurse's friend.

Kamla confronts Basma about her agreement with her friend to blackmail them. Mazen is shocked when he discovers that Kamla is not paralyzed; she then kills him after agreeing with the house's guard. Muhammed arrests her and accuses her of killing Salim, Naira, and Mazen.

The police arrest journalist Shaghaf and charge her with Farid's murder. Shaghaf manages to escape from the police car and seeks refuge with her fiancé, Khalil, but the latter suspects a relationship between her and the murdered man.

Shaghaf meets the interior designer Nour, and he takes her with him on his way to Alexandria. She stays at his house and tells him that she has been accused of murder. Meanwhile, the detective is interrogating Shaghaf's uncle in the same case.

Nour prevents Shaghaf from turning herself in to the police and promises to help her prove her innocence. Then, he ties her up and locks her up in the villa. It turns out that he is mentally ill, so Shaghaf escapes from him. On the other hand, Khalil's son attempts to commit suicide.

Shaghaf seeks refuge with her friend, but her husband refuses. Shaghaf is forced to turn herself in and tells the police officer that she suspects that Khalil is the killer. Meanwhile, Khalil decides to return to his first wife, the mother of his son.

Khalil tries to get close to his son, who tells him that he placed Shaghaf's belongings next to Farid's body to pin the blame on her. Shaghaf confesses to the police that she killed Farid after their customary marriage and that he constantly threatened her.

Khadija supervises the expatriate home and quarrels with the student, Reem, for returning late to the home. At home, Khadija treats her husband, Sharaf, harshly, mocking his disability and unemployment. She also suffers greatly in raising her sister, Marwa.

Sheikh Sultan reveals to Sharaf that the house he's searching for in the neighborhood below contains treasure. Students Reem and Nadia decide to file a complaint against Khadija, who works as a side hustle for Mrs. Thuraya. Mustafa resents his mother's interference in his personal life.

The nursing home administration investigates Reem's complaint, and Khadija is suspended from work. Marwa rejects Simba's marriage proposal, and Umm Mustafa threatens Tasneem over her relationship with her son and forces her to sign promissory notes.

As Khadija is accused of killing Thuraya, Thuraya's maid quarrels with her sister over the accidental killing of Thuraya while robbing the house. Mustafa meets Marwa online, and she tries to exploit him financially.

The police arrest the maid with the stolen goods in her possession, and Simba finds artifacts under the house. Umm Mustafa confesses that Marwa is her daughter and asks Khadija to forge Marwa's lineage to her father.
