The leader of the neighborhood, Abu Malik, is upset when a thief breaks into his house. He searches for him, not knowing that he is his son Malik, who left the house when he was young.

The Colonel's sister is trying to convince him to marry again so that he can have a boy who will bear his name. At the same time, the leader catches Malik and presents him to the police station as a thief without knowing that he is his son.

Abu Malik blames his wife, Sabria, for kicking Fayza out of the house. Sabria saves Malik from imprisonment. Dana offers her mother a job as a seamstress and tries to find out anything about her late father.

Abu Malik quarrels with his wife for not apologizing to Fayza, and Abu Yassin refuses to let Narges go out in the neighborhood with her face uncovered and go to school.

The quarrels between Fayza and Sabria continue, and the former incites Abu Yassin against his brother Abu Malik, so Abu Yassin reveals his jealousy of Abu Malik’s leadership of the neighborhood.

Abu Yassin quarrels with Zakaria and beats him. Abu Yassin files a complaint against Abu Malik, demanding that he return leadership of the neighborhood to him. Umm Malik gets Raifa engaged to her son Suleiman, and Narges decides to persuade the women of the neighborhood to educate their daughters in schools.

The Colonel blames Abu Yassin for his complaint against his brother. Fayza continues to incite her husband against Abu Malik, and Satie kills Nayfa after trying to assault her.

Satie claims to Nayfa's family that he is looking for the killer, but Rabia doubts him. Umm al-Khair proposes that Fayza's daughter marry the leader's son.

Abu Malik proposes to his son Suleiman to marry Narges, and Abu Yassin revolts against him. Meanwhile, Malik asks Rabia not to leave Umm Nayfa and to console her in her misfortune.

Umm Malik remembers how her husband treated her son Malik harshly and separated him from his brother Suleiman, causing him to leave home young. The Colonel’s wives agree together to draw his attention to them so that he does not marry a third woman under the pretext of having children.

When Fayza tries to convince Umm Narges not to agree to her marriage to Suleiman, Umm Narges kicks her out of the house. The wedding ceremony takes place, and Malik asks Abu Nayfa to return to the neighborhood, but he refuses.

Abu Yassin refuses to attend his daughter Narges' wedding, and Zidane surprises everyone by leaving prison and he prevents his daughter Narges' marriage.

Zidane accuses his wife of infidelity and refuses to acknowledge his paternity to Narges. He tells the people of the neighborhood the story of a woman he saved from the clutches of British soldiers after they assaulted her.

Abu Malik is able to calm Zidane down and agree with him to prove Narges' paternity to him, but Abu Yassin continues to ignite the flames of doubt in Zidane's heart.

The neighborhood's midwife testifies to Narges' sonship to Zidane. The neighborhood's sheikh rules that Zidane must marry Narges' mother again due to his absence from her for years. Malik thinks about returning to the neighborhood.

Zidane is arrested on charges of threatening to kill his wife, and Fayza suggests to her husband to persuade Zidane to consummate his daughter's marriage to Suleiman so that Abu Malik will lose leadership.

Abu Yassin refuses to marry his son to Samiha, Abu Malik's daughter. Zidane borrows money from the colonel so he can start working. Malik remembers how he left his father's house and Abu Nayfa took over his upbringing despite the leader's expulsion of the latter from the neighborhood.

Abu Yassin convinces Zidane to agree on his daughter's marriage to Suleiman, and Fayza exposes Samiha in front of her father and tells him about her relationship with Yassin.

Satie discovers Malik's parentage to the neighborhood leader, and Zidane asks Abu Malik to let his son divorce Narges. The leader blames Yassin for his relationship with his daughter without his knowledge.

Umm al-Khair asks the midwife to marry her daughter, Raifa, to the colonel, and Zidane agrees to his daughter's marriage to the leader's son.

The midwife, Amina, informs the colonel that his wife is pregnant, which postpones the idea of ​​his marrying another woman. Suleiman consummates his marriage to Narges, and the leader dies after a quarrel with his brother Abu Yassin.

Abu Yassin takes advantage of Suleiman's grief over his father and seizes leadership. Malik revolts and decides to take revenge on Abu Yassin for causing Abu Malik's death. Umm al-Khair suspects the colonel's wives of being pregnant and that they are lying to him.

Malik asks Abu Nayfa to return to the neighborhood so that he can take over leadership in his late father's place, and Umm al-Khair decides to let the midwife check on the colonel's wives to ensure that they are pregnant.

It becomes clear that the Colonel's wives agreed with Amina to falsely claim that they are pregnant. Malik shows Satie the tattoo on his hand that resembles the tattoo of his brother Suleiman. Zidane threatens Fayza to expose her and talk about saving her from the British soldiers.

Satie stabs Malik after drawing a tattoo on his hand to impersonate him as the leader's son. Fayza becomes worried after Zidane works with her husband, Abu Yassin. Sabria stipulates that her daughter's marriage to Yassin must reside in another house away from his mother.

Sabria reveals that Abu Yassin agreed with Zidane to start a quarrel between him and his daughter, Narges, and Zahariya saves Malik from death.

Satie meets Suleiman and reveals the tattoo on his hand. Everyone celebrates, believing that Satie is Malik. Abu Yassin worries, fearing that he will lose his leadership with Malik's return.

Abu Yassin confesses to his family what he did at Fayza's instigation, and the people of the neighborhood decide to choose Satie as leader to succeed Abu Malik, believing that he is Malik, but Abu Nayfa decides to expose the manipulation and confront Satie.

Satie agrees with Zidane to kill Abu Nayfa so that his secret, as well as the tattoo artist, will not be revealed, and Malik regains his health.

Samiha becomes suspicious of Satie and he threatens to kill her. She loses her speech out of fear from him, and Malik discovers that Abu Nayfa is killed.

Zidane tries to find out the secret that Satie is hiding, and the latter agrees with him to get rid of Abu Yassin, and Satie is harassing Narges.

Satie asks Zidane to get rid of Suleiman so he can marry Narges. Malik appears at the right time, Narges shoots Satie, and Abu Yassin confronts his wife about her relationship with Zidane and divorces her.
