Abu Falah is looking forward to the marriage of his two sons, Salem and Abdullah, but they prefer to work in the city and pursue their professional future. Doctor Abdullah likes the vegetable seller Muzain.

Anan, the wife of Falah, gives birth to a baby boy, much to everyone's joy, but the baby gets sick and Abdullah treats him in the hospital.

The criminal Fadl tries to harass Muzain, so Dr. Bassam quarrels with him and beats him. Fadl is taken to the hospital in serious condition, and Abu Falah refuses to hand Bassam over to the policeman, Diaa.

Bassam is looking forward to marrying Wadha, but her father refuses due to their different customs and traditions, so Abdullah agrees with Bassam that the latter seeks help at Wadha’s grandfather’s grave until her father agrees to the marriage.

Abdullah confesses his love to Muzain and asks to marry her, much to Suhair’s jealousy, as she decides to seek vengeance by making someone cut the brakes on Abdullah’s car, and his hand is paralyzed in the accident.

The pilot, Salem, is torn between his marriage to his cousin Nofa, or postponing the wedding for a while, due to Nofa’s lack of civility and her adherence to village customs. Abdullah decides to travel abroad for treatment.

Falah's son dies in the hospital, much to everyone's sadness, while Anan suffers a nervous breakdown. Abu Falah insists on his son Falah marrying again so he can have a boy.

After she marries Abdullah and travels abroad with him, Muzain continues her studies, learns the English language, and becomes a nurse. Salem marries Nofa, who achieves great success in completing her studies.

Nofa treats her husband and her family differently and refuses to abide by customs and traditions. She rebels against her life and asks for a divorce. Muzain returns with Abdullah and works with him in the hospital, much to her husband’s family's joy.

Suhair incites Fadl to take revenge on Abdullah, and they agree to seize his land. After Fadl quarrels with him and beats him, Falah is taken to the hospital, so Abdullah seeks Officer Diaa's help to stop Fadl and arrest him.

After she falls ill and is taken to the hospital, Abdullah discovers that Umm Falah has cancer and that her days are numbered. Everyone is sad and gathers around her to share her last moments, but Bassam discovers that the test result is wrong and everyone rejoices.
