Abu Nasser's shop is robbed. Fahd returns from Basra carrying his friend Saud's dead body, so Fahd is accused of his murder.
Rashid wishes to marry Munira, and Abu Mejbal quarrels with Fahd and accuses him of covering up for Saud's killer.
Sarah insists on asking Fahd for her father's money, so an argument breaks out between Hessa and Fahd over his demanding the money. Officer Muhammad summons Abu Mejbal and Abu Youssef to question them about Saud's death.
Sheikha turns to Abu Rashid (Rashid's father) to mediate in getting her husband released from prison, and Fahd is beaten by an unknown person.
Abu Rashid insists on his son working in diving. Mubarak likes Sarah and sends his sister to formally ask for her hand for him. Umm Sarah (Sarah's mother) is surprised by Abu Mutlaq demanding that he manage her late husband Saud’s money.
Muhammad quarrels with Rashid for covering up for the thief who robbed Abu Nasser’s shop. Fahd asks Abu Mubarak to mediate with Umm Sarah to resume his management of her husband’s money, but Fahd’s shop is robbed. Sarah agrees to marry Mubarak.
Abu Youssef tells Abu Mubarak of his liquidation of all his businesses in India. Rashid decides to propose to Munira. Abu Mutlaq joins forces with Abu Mejbal against Fahd.
Mubarak marries Sarah, much to Mutlaq's rage, after which he stabs Mubarak with a knife.
Mubarak receives treatment in the hospital, and Abu Mejbal suspects that Mutlaq is behind the stabbing, but Abu Mutlaq proves his son's alibi that he was away from the village.
Abu Youssef quarrels with Abu Mejbal over the latter defending Mutlaq against the accusation of stabbing Mubarak. Abu Rashid rejects his son’s engagement to Munira. Mubarak’s wedding takes place.
Mubarak resents his father's wish to get married. Umm Youssef requests a divorce because Abu Youssef is married to another woman in India. Abu Mubarak rejects Rashid's proposal to marry his daughter Munira.
Abu Mubarak quarrels with Abu Rashid because of his son. Abu Youssef scolds Abu Mubarak for refusing his daughter's marriage to Rashid because of the latter's poverty.
Fahd tells Muhammad that he has received threatening letters, and suspects that Abu Mejbal is behind those letters. Because of Hessa, Mubarak divorces his wife, and Rashid travels with Abu Youssef for work.
Umm Mardi reveals the surprise that Saud had married another woman before his death, and that he had a son with her, while Sheikha refuses to receive Ghanima, Abu Youssef’s daughter from his second marriage, into her home.
Sarah decides to return to Mubarak because of her pregnancy. As several thefts take place in the neighborhood, Muhammad suspects that the perpetrator is the same.
Abu Mubarak places his goods in Fahd's warehouse and they are burnt. Muhammad suspects that Khalaf and Jassim are behind the fire. Abu Mejbal quarrels with Mutlaq when he learns of the latter's insistence on killing Mubarak. Abu Youssef quarrels with Sheikha because of his daughter.
Fahd proposes to marry Umm Sarah, and when she agrees, her daughter quarrels with her, and Abu Mejbal quarrels with Fahd for the same reason. Rashid decides to look for a shop in the market to work in.
Rashid opens his shop in the market. Sarah asks Mubarak to look for Umm Mardi, while Fahd marries Umm Sarah.
An unknown person robs Rashid's store, and the police arrest Fahd on charges of dealing with usury with Jumaa. When Mubarak arrives at Umm Mardi's, he loses consciousness.
Mubarak's absence lasts a long time, causing his father to worry. Fahd decides to travel after him to search for him. Abu Rashid accuses Abu Mubarak of robbing his shop.
Fahd returns from his trip and breaks the news of Mubarak's death. Muhammad suspects Fahd of killing him, and Fahd tries to persuade Umm Sarah to sell her property and buy a boat for trade. Abu Mejbal accuses Mutlaq of murder.
Quarrels break out between Abu Mejbal and Fahd, and Muhammad arrests the former. Abu Mubarak refuses to hold a funeral until he receives his son’s body. It's revealed that Mubarak is alive and Umm Mardi tells him of Jasser’s agreement with her to falsely claim that Saud had married another woman.
Abu Mubarak asks Fahd to drop the complaint against Abu Mejbal. As Fahd locks his wife in the house and tries to seize her property, her daughter Sarah quarrels with him. Muhammad arrests Rashid in the market while he is masked and accuses him of robbing the market stores.
Sarah decides to give up her share in her father's house so that Fahd would let her mother go. Muhammad questions Rashid. Abu Marzouk tells Abu Mubarak that his son is still alive and that Jasser tried to kill him.
After he releases Mutlaq and Rashid from prison, Muhammad agrees with Rashid to trap Fahd because of his suspicions about him. After he discovers that Jasser works with Jassim, a worker in his father’s shop, Mubarak disguises himself as a woman to return home.
Hessa files a report against Fahd for imprisoning her sister in the house and forcing her to give up ownership of the house. Rashid cooperates with Muhammad to catch Saud’s killer. Mubarak hides his return from the neighborhood people.
