Zahra quarrels with her husband, Ali, about her father’s control over their marital life. As Mansour’s memory returns, he remembers Hamdan beating him, and decides to search for his wife, Khadija, and his two children, Ali and Laila.
Mansour continues to search for his family in vain, and Khadija seeks to reconcile her son Ali and Zahra in order to return her home.
It turns out that Khadija's brother, Hamdan, has control over her husband Mansour's money, as well as the fate of the latter's children. Hamdan receives a phone call that makes him suspect that Mansour is still alive.
Hamdan insists on his son Muhammad marrying Laila and kicks him out of the house. Mansour meets Rashid and Hamdan, and the latter believes that he is someone who looks like Mansour.
Rashid decides to return home to live with his wife, Khadija, until Mansour discovers that she married another man in his absence. Laila agrees to marry Muhammad. Afraa meets Khadija, but does not tell her that she is Mansour's daughter.
As Laila and Muhammad's wedding takes place, they travel to spend their honeymoon, agreeing to remain like siblings. Khadija finds Mansour's ring, and the lawyer asks the latter for Khadija's testimony that he is her absent husband.
As Mansour tells Khadija what her brother Hamdan did to him, she decides to cancel the power of attorney she gave Hamdan to manage her property. The latter quarrels with Rashid after he discovers his tampering with the projects for his own benefit. Laila refuses to have her father back in her life.
Khadija reveals to her children that Hamdan coveted Mansour's money and attempted to kill him. Hamdan asks Rashid to bring an important file from his office, then informs the police that Rashid stole it. Hamdan falsely claims to his children that Mansour quarreled with him and that he defended himself.
Hamdan falsely claims that Mansour tried to run him over with a car, and Rashid offers to hand Mansour all the papers proving that Hamdan seized his money.
Muhammad refuses to let Rashid remain in the company, and confronts his father Hamdan with transferring the ownership of Khadija’s property to himself. Khadija asks Mansour not to sue her brother Hamdan.
Afraa tells her father that she refuses to marry Khaled because he is married to another woman. Hamdan is furious when Laila publishes news about the greed and corruption of merchants and hints at his company.
Rashid divorces Khadija, while Hamdan gives back his sister some of her property and regrets involving his children, Muhammad and Zahra, in his corrupt business. Mansour decides to hand over the papers that convict Hamdan to Muhammad.
