As Wadima and Halima are waiting to see the Ramadan crescent moon, Wadima gathers the women of the neighborhood in her house to dictate to them her terms for distributing food during Ramadan. Wadiima and Halima compete to present the best dish.

Selim falls ill due to the high temperature, so Asmaa tries to convince her mother, Wadima, to install an air conditioner in the shop so that Selim does not get sick. Faraj quarrels with his son Salem because of the high electricity consumption caused by running the air conditioner.

Faraj's boat sinks, affecting his psyche and causing him to forget everything. Everyone is surprised that he doesn't remember anything about them and treats them like children.

Everyone is getting ready to celebrate the middle of Sha'ban, and Wadima and Halima are trying to compete to attract the children and distribute sweets to them.

Halima is upset by Wadima's mockery of her for not being able to read. Halima asks Salem to help her learn and decides to enroll in literacy classes.

Asmaa convinces her mother, Wadima, to install a post office box near their house so that the salesman, Selim, can easily receive all of his family’s correspondence. Halima takes advantage of the situation and claims that she was the one who requested it so that the box would be near her house.

Wadima decides to extend a phone line to Selim's shop so she can contact him while she's away from home. Salem asks his father, Faraj, to buy him a pager, and Halima considers buying one.

Wadima is surprised to find a sign on the wall of her house. Selim tells her that her house was valued by the government and that it will pay her a large compensation. This ignites Halima's jealousy that the sign was not placed on her house.

Wadima decides to trade in incense and tobacco, and asks her neighbor Hessa to teach her how. When Halima begins her trade by drying and selling fish, it affects Wadima’s business.

As a result of the severe recession in her shop, Wadima decides to agree with Selim to hold prizes and a lottery for the shop’s customers, but everyone quarrels with Selim and accuses him of deception and fraud when they don’t win.

Salem and Halima decide to build an oven in the house, and Halima takes all the wood from in front of Wadima’s house to light the oven.

Salem is forced to sit with his friends on street benches because there is no place for young people to gather, which causes traffic congestion and complaints from residents, especially when the thug Sanqour confronts him.

Selim quarrels with Wadima and decides to quit working for her at the shop. He disguises himself as his twin, Halim, and opens a cafeteria, inviting everyone to participate in a Carrom competition.

Asfour comes to the neighborhood and searches for a stray bird. He meets Wadima, who agrees with Selim and Hessa to trap Asfour in her net and force him to marry her.

Asfour surrenders to his marriage to Wadima and decides to move his bird trade to Wadima's house, which angers her, and she decides to leave him.

Faraj is furious when he finds Shams' children on the roof of his house, and Wadima decides to bring a juice fridge to attract the children to the shop and looks for new sweets to please them.

Salem is injured in a car accident, so Faraj and Halima decide to hold a feast for the neighborhood people. Asmaa tries to convince her mother to cook the food and participate with Halima.

Abu Abdullah tries to convince Faraj to join him in opening a services office, but Wadima takes advantage of the situation and deceives Abu Abdullah, convincing him to participate in the project. She then takes over the management and turns him into a mere employee.

The residents are surprised to find Sanqour's ferocious dog chasing everyone, so Salem and his friend decide to bring another dog to keep Sanqour's dog away from the neighborhood.

Wadima quarrels with Selim over his high electricity consumption. She refuses to let him use fans and devises a plan to reduce consumption, but Asmaa sabotages it.

Halima asks Faraj and Salem to help her make glasses like Wadima's, who refuses to let her daughter Asmaa start a coffee shop project, so Asmaa decides to depend on herself.

Shams's children cause a fire in their house, so Shams and her family move to Faraj's house to stay there. They cause a fire in Faraj's house, so Wadima is forced to host them in her house. Then they cause a fire in Wadima's house.

Wadima notices that the children have stopped buying from her shop and discovers that the Indian Mahran has opened a shop selling falooda (ice cream). She agrees with Selim to sell it, but she fails.

Ubaid agrees with Selim to sell books in Wadima’s shop, who asks Selim to help her get rid of Hessa’s intrusion. Asmaa unintentionally shoots Hessa in the foot, injuring her, and the latter is forced to stay in Wadima’s house until she recovers.

After both Wadima and Halima refuse to let Hessa stay in their home, the latter decides to set up a small business and sell items next to the homes of Wadima and Halima, who are siding against Hessa.

Sanqour attacks all the residents of the neighborhood, creates problems with them, and assaults Salem, so Salem agrees with his friend to confront Sanqour with the stick of the actor Bruce Lee.

Azouz is forced to leave the parrot with Salem so that Sanqour does not seize it by force. Azouz makes Salem believe that if he teaches the bird to talk, he will sell it for a high price.

Faraj and Halima's foster brother returns to the neighborhood, and Hessa spreads the rumor that whenever he touches the money, he increases it, and Wadima asks him to do so.

Salem proposes to Asmaa again, but her mother refuses and seeks to marry her into a wealthy family. Thus, Halima tries to convince him to choose from among the girls she has nominated for him.

Everyone is getting ready for Eid, and Asmaa is upset about the delay in preparing her new clothes. She asks her mother not to fight with Halima on such a day.
