Mohamed asks her Zainab's father for her hand, but the latter is surprised by the lawyer Osama's reckless actions, which lead to Mohamed's dismissal from his job. Osama then asks for Zainab's hand.

At first, Zainab refuses to be associated with Osama and his desperate attempts to convince her to marry him. After he contacts her brother Ahmed and her father, Zainab agrees, and the marriage takes place.

Osama tries to prevent Zainab from visiting her family, and tries to convince her to quit her job, offering her gifts and justifications in every situation to be satisfied with him.

Osama continues to control Zainab, and when she tells him about her pregnancy, his behavior becomes more harsh towards her. She decides to leave the house and ask for a divorce. He becomes angry at her family's interference, while Ahmed resents his mother-in-law's prolonged stay in the house.

Problems arise between Ahmed and his wife because of her mother. Osama fakes an accident to gain Zainab's sympathy, while her friend Nancy tries to get close to Osama.

Osama tries to convince Zainab to quit her job and wear the niqab. On the day of her delivery, he prevents her family from visiting her, so her mother, Fatima, quarrels with him.

Zainab decides to return to her mother and live in their house, while Nancy quarrels with her fiancé and creates problems to break up with him.

Osama apologizes to Zainab and her family and tries to put things back on track. After a while, he convinces her to give him a general power of attorney under the pretext of buying a villa, and then he divorces her.

Osama accuses both Ahmed and Zainab's father of assaulting and attempting to kill him. The police arrest Ahmed, her father is taken to the hospital, and Osama marries Nancy.

Zainab discovers that Osama divorced her before she gave up her property and custody of her son. Haroun convinces Osama to run for the elections to further their personal interests. Osama faints after being injured during a fight with Zainab.

Osama wakes up from his coma and quarrels with Nancy for accusing Zainab of trying to kill him. Zainab seeks to prove her brother's innocence and get him released, while also trying to restore the rights that Osama took from her. Haroun plots revenge on him.

Ahmed quarrels with Manal and divorces her. Zainab discovers that Osama caused his ex-fiancée, Ibtisam, to commit suicide, so she decides to investigate his past. Haroun seeks to strike a deal with Zainab to take revenge on Osama.

Zainab discovers that Osama has been suffering from a mental illness for a long time. When Zainab returns to work, Osama becomes angry and tries to kick her out. Things get back to normal between Manal and Ahmed, and Nancy discovers that she is unable to have children but claims that she is pregnant.

Nancy asks Osama to officially register their marriage. Zainab presents a TV show called "Dhal Haita" (Shadow of A Wall) in which she tells the story of her life with Osama, which angers him. Osama discovers that Nancy has placed a tracking device on his phone.

Osama tries to apologize to Zainab and her family and asks her to return to him. After discovering Nancy lied about her pregnancy, he divorces her. The police arrest Osama after Zainab and Haroun decide to detain him and record a confession to his manipulation and corruption in the cases.
