Yahya works in trade, and Jumaan accuses him of stealing and flogs him in front of everyone. Meanwhile, Umm Hassan quarrels with her brothers for not giving her her right to her inheritance and is forced to work as a maid.
A conflict arises between the sons of Gharman and the Abu Jumaan family because of the theft of the king's dagger. Yahya resorts to Gharman to clear him of the charge of theft.
Abu Jumaan doubts his son's claim that Yahya stole the dagger, and the latter faces a difficult test when the villagers refuse to buy goods from him.
Farhan accuses Abu Jumaan of filling up the well on his land and threatens to take revenge. In a violent quarrel between Dhafer and Yahya, the former is killed because he refused to testify that Yahya was innocent of the theft, and the latter decides to leave the town and move far away with his family.
A fierce battle takes place between the sons of Jumaan and Gharman's son because of Dhafer's death. Umm Awda breaks off her son's engagement to Mastura, Yahya's daughter, because of her father's bad reputation. Ibn Rafe's men kidnap Yahya.
Abu Jumaan blames his son for getting into a fight with the sons of Gharman. Yahya returns to his home after Ibn Rafeh leaves him, and Misfir offers him to become one of his men, but Yahya refuses and is forced to leave with his family.

A snake bites Mostoura and her condition worsens. Gharman's sons are surprised that the well water is contaminated after it was re-dug.
Abu Jumaan holds a funeral for Dhafer at the same time that Gharman's sons hold a funeral for Ibn Farhan. Yahya saves Ibn Rafi's caravan from an attack by bandits and defends their money.
Mostoura's illness worsens, and Yahya moves with his family to a safe house. Abu Jumaan asks him to forgive him, stay near him, and become one of his men after he saves the caravan.

Jumaan kidnaps the dagger's keeper, so he cannot testify against him. Ayed then finds him murdered. Yahya moves with his family to a large house and becomes one of Abu Jumaan's men. Gharman's sons believe that Yahya robbed their storehouse.
Farhan and Ayed quarrel with Abu Jumaan and accuse him of robbing the warehouse. Yahya confronts them. Alwa quarrels with her brother Saleh and accuses him of shame and not protecting their father's land.
Yahya tries to convince the villagers to ask Gharman not to enter into a war, while at the same time, Alwa seeks to gather information about Abu Gharman's family to take revenge.
Yahya cleverly succeeds in stopping the bloodshed in the war and rallies the people around him. Umm Hassan's brother tries to force her to marry an old man under the pretext of protecting her, and Ayed tries to convince Jumaan to return the dagger to its place.
Ibn Simran increases the financial pressure on Abu Jumaan and Gharman. Abu Jumaan decides to marry Dhafer's sister, who demands that she know her brother's killer as a dowry. Yahya's power grows stronger, and she offers him a marriage proposal.
Farhan's mother tries to convince him to marry again so he can have children. Farhan asks Alwa to marry him. Gharman asks Abu Jumaan to help him with the store robbery crisis and provide him with grain.
Salma confronts Alwa about her husband Farhan's closeness to her. Abu Jumaan's warehouses are robbed, and Alwa reveals the location of the stolen goods to Yahya and asks him to join forces with her against Abu Jumaan and Gharman in return.
Yahya and his men find the stolen grain in Ibn Simran's storehouse and return it to the village. Abu Jumaan is forced to return after fleeing the village when Ibn Simran takes over the market.
Abu Jumaan searches for Dhafer's sister after she runs away from home. A dispute erupts between Ayed and Farhan over the ruling. Jumaan proposes to Yahya's daughter in marriage. Alwa demands from Gharman that he return her father's land to her.
Ibn Simran's men attack the village and seize the stores. A fierce battle ensues with the villagers and Yahya's men, and the latter's mother dies.
Ibn Simran forces Abu Jumaan and Gharman to pay him tribute, and they agree with him against Yahya. In the mountains, Yahya prepares to take revenge, and his wife leaves him and returns to her family.
Yahya teams up with Alwa to take revenge on Abu Jumaan and Gharman, and they get married. Ayed accuses Yahya of stealing the stockyard. Gharman prevents the grains from reaching the market, and Ibn Simran marries Dhafer's sister.
Yahya reveals to Farhan that Ayed stole the cattle so he can sell them to his father again like he did with the grains. In order for Saliha to take revenge on Mostoura, she tells Abu Jumaan the location of Yahya and his family.
Yahya captures Abu Jumaan and his son and gives them the choice between death and giving up all their possessions. Zahra discovers that Saliha was the cause of her illness, so she wants to get rid of her.
Zahra insists on leaving the house, and Saleh divorces her. Farhan turns to Yahya to protect the caravans instead of Ibn Simran. Abu Jumaan's illness worsens, while Alwa reveals to Yahya the gold treasures she possesses.
Ayed agrees with Yahya to cooperate against Ibn Simran. Abu Jumaan and Gharman feel remorse for what they did to Yahya, and Alwa takes over Umm Jumaan's house.
Yahya and his men defeat Ibn Simran and seize his palace. The latter tries to negotiate with Yahya to cooperate and take over the sheikhdom without war, but Alwa insists on taking revenge on Ibn Simran and kills him. She then agrees with Ayed to get rid of Yahya.
