The funeral took place early today, August 12th, in" Police Mosque", in 6th of October city. Many actors and actresses attended the funeral, Adel Emam, Mahmoud Yassin, Yehia El-Fakharani, Hussein Fahmi, Ezzat El-Alayli, Ahmed El-Sakka, Farouk El-Fishawi, Magdy Kamel, Ashraf Abdelghafour, Khaled El-Nabawi, Youssra, Elham Shahin, Nabila Ebeid, Magda Zaki, Fifi Abdo, Fardose Abdelhamid, Samira Abdelaziz, Laila Elwi, and many other actors and actresses who also expressed their deep sorrow on social media, writing, "Nour Al-Sherif our darling forever." Nour Al-Sherif, or Mohamed Gaber Mohamed Abdallah, started his path, back in 1967, when he played the role of Kamal in "Qasr El Shok", one of Naguib Mahfouz masterpieces. In the beginning of the seventies, his performance was reflecting a genuine talent which draws attention to his performance in films, such as Zawgati w Al Kalb 1971 (My Wife and the Dog), and (The Karnak) 1975. It is worth to mention that both roles were with the famous actress Souad Hosni. He worked with iconic filmmakers, such as Mohamed Khan and Dawoud Abdelsayed. His addiction to reading made Nour Al-Sherif an intellectual actor who carefully choose unique and different roles. He successfully played the role of the romantic man in "Habibi Daeman" (My Darling Forever), along with the love of his life and wife actress Poussi; he also succeeded to star iconic roles in movies such as, "Darbet Shams", "Sawak El Otobis", "Naji Al-Ali", "Layla Sakhena" and "Ibn Roshed" with Youssef Shahin. His television soap operas made his presence warmly welcomed by the TV audience during the holy month of Ramadan, "Omar Ibn Abdel Aziz", "Haroun El Rashid", "Lan Aesih fe Gelbab Abi, "Khalaf Allah"," El Dali", "El Rahaya", and many others. Nour Al-Sherif have passed away with his body, however, his roles will always keep him in our minds and hearts. Our deep condolences to his Family, actress Poussi, his daughters Mai and Sara.
