He then studied journalism and translation at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University. He also obtained a PhD in Arabic grammar from the...Read more Sorbonne. He wrote plays, short stories, novels, films, and children's literature. He also translated several important works from French to Arabic. He wrote the film Conflict (1979).
