A Syrian director who was born in the city of Hama in 1944. He worked in the vegetable market in Hama while he was in the primary stage, in a pharmacy in preparatory stage, and as a street vendor in the secondary stage. He obtained a commercial secondary school diploma in 1963 and worked as a teacher in villages and primary schools in Hama.
He began his career as an actor in 1956 through the Scout Union activities in the city. He studied theatrical acting under Fouad Selim and studied comedy at the hands of Abdel Majid Maghmouma. He worked as an employee in the Public Consumer Corporation from 1966 to 1978. He directed the play A Party for June 5th, written by Saadallah Wannous.
He worked in the movie The Night as an actor and production assistant. He participated in the production of the children's program The Bouquet. He died on December 20, 2011, at the age of 67, due to a sudden heart attack.
