Then she traveled to Paris, where she met Jean-Marie Serreau, who offered her the role of the queen in the play The Tragedy of King Christophe by Aimee Césaire, after which she performed many roles in theaters. She acted in the 1983 movie Amok!. She died on July 9, 2011 in Dakar, Senegal.
