Egyptian writer and film director, who studied cinema in the United States of America, the United Kingdom, and the American University in Cairo. She wrote and directed the feature film Snow White, whose screenplay won two awards from the Cairo Film Festival and was funded by the Royal Film Commission of Jordan and the Writers Guild of America. Before traveling to the United States to study cinema, she worked as an assistant director and second-unit director on several Egyptian films, including Ibrahim Labyad and The Yacoubian Building, in addition to several drama series.
