Pran Sikand was an Indian actor, born on 12 February,1920 at Lahore, Pakistan. He made his film debut in Yamla Jat (1940). Pran moved to India after the split between India and Pakistan and became the most popular villain in Indian cinema. He acted in more than 350 movies such as...Read more Gambler (1960), Amar, Akbar and Anthony (1977), Bade Dil Wala (1983) and Isi Ka Naam Zindagi (1992). He is ranked among the 25 best Asian actors of all time and he won many awards such as 3 Filmfare Awards and Padma Bhushan, India's third highest civilian award from the Government of India. He married Shukla Ahluwalia in 1945 and they had three children. He passed away on July 12, 2013 in Mumbai, at the age of 93.
