He was a Sudanese singer and music composer, born 1931 in the village of Al-Dabaiba, east of Khartoum. He traveled to Egypt in 1951 and joined the Higher Institute of Music and completed his studies in 1958. In Egypt, he introduced himself through the "Sudan Corner" dedicated to him on the Egyptian radio, and the sons of Sudan gathered around him. Many great artists praised him regardless his young age such as Umm Kulthum and Mohammed Abdel Wahab. He had strong social relations, and was appointed to the Sudanese diplomatic missions residing in Egypt, and he was the first ambassador of popular diplomacy without allocations. He was honored by the Sudanese Cultural Association in 2001. He passed away on July 1, 2001.
