An American novelist, born as William Paul Kennedy
in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He began writing in high school for Xavier magazine, then studied history and economics at Holy Cross College. After performing his military service as a naval officer, he earned advanced degrees from New York University and became a business journalist, covering the computer, telecom, and electric power industries. This led to him establishing an advertising agency for high-tech markets. He's known for Toy Soldiers (1991). He passed away on August 18, 2020, in Sarasota, Florida, USA.
