An American animator, film director and voice actor, born on March 20, 1957 in Binghamton, New York. He became interested in animation when he was only 12 years old. He graduated from high school in 1975, he went to study at the State University of New York, where he received a BFA in film, and soon after that he went on to study at Ohio State University, earning him a MA in computer graphics and art education. He founded Blue Sky Studios, one of the best animation studios in the USA. His most famous works, include: Ice Age (2002), and Robots (2005).
