He worked on Qatari television as a broadcaster and producer, then head of the texts and translation unit, a TV news monitor, and finally as an expert in the office of the head of the Radio and Television Authority. He contributed to the establishment of several television channels, such as the Sharjah Channel, and prepared dozens of television programs and radio series, and represented Qatar in the Arab States Broadcasting Union. He presented more than 45 studies in literature and culture.
