An Egyptian actor, born in Cairo. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Arts and Education from the Department of English, Helwan University, and a bachelor's degree from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, Department of Acting and Directing. He worked as an English language teacher immediately after graduating from university, but his artistic career started when he was a student in the preparatory stage. He acted in Wingless Birds (1978). He presented nearly 40 dramatic works on Egyptian TV, in addition to starring in many films and plays. He became the official spokesman for the Egyptian Ministry of Education. He is known for Hell 2 (Hurghada).
