Egyptian writer born on 1927 in Beni Amer, Sharqiya. He graduated from Faculty of Dar al-Ulum in 1954, and then obtained a diploma from the Institute of Higher Education for Teachers at Ain Shams University. He worked as an Arabic teacher and kept being promoted until he was Secretary General of the Linguistic Society. He was active in cultural work as a poet and writer for radio and television series, including Ibn Taymiyyah (1985), and Arab Councils: from the Councils of Harun Al-Rashid (1990).
