Shaimaa Saied |
An American singer, composer, and actor, born in Newark, Ohio. He used to sing in churches as his father was a pastor. When he was 11 years old, he sang on the radio with the pianist Art Tatum, and after the end of his service in the army, he gave up studying law. On the advice of saxophonist Charlie Parker, he moved to New York to embark on a new adventure. In addition to singing, he worked as a writer and university professor. Some of his credits are White Men Can't Jump (1992) and Men of Honor (2000).
