An American actress, born in 1944 in New York to a wealthy family. She studied in the largest schools and colleges in the city, and when she was at Sarah Lawrence College, she realized the extent of her love for acting. Her eighth film "Unmarried Woman" directed by Paul Mazursky in 1978 was her date with global success, where she won the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival, and was nominated for two Oscars. She is best known for her roles in Love & Other Drugs (2010), Silver Streak (1976), and The Wedding Party (1969). She died on November 5, 2010.
