She started out at the Adelaide youth theatre company Energy Connection and has worked with several Australian theater companies, including the Melbourne Theater Company. She was associate director of the State Theatre Company of South Australia. She is known for Aspects of Love (2005), Aida: Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour (2015), and A Heartbeat Away (2011).
