Add/Update Information: John Briley - Writer

An American writer and producer, born in Michigan, USA. He grew up in Detroit. He served three years in the United States Army Air Forces, reaching the rank of captain. He also studied at the University of Michigan, and obtained a master's degree in English in 1951, and a doctorate in Elizabethan drama from the University of Birmingham. After leaving the Air Force, he became a writer for MGM-British. Some of his credits include Gandhi (1982) and Molokai (1999).
